Apple’s iPhone 13 has surpassed all in the global rankings of the April 2022 bestselling phone.
Apple’s iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 12 topped the top four of the top 10 bestselling phones in April 2022, according to the latest report from Counterpoint Research. Samsung and Redmi are the brands that made it to the top 10. The market share of the top 10 selling models was 21% of the total smartphone market. According to recent figures from Counterpoint Research, the iPhone 13 emerged as the world’s bestselling phone with a 5.5% market share.
iPhone 13 Pro Max
It is currently the most expensive iPhone handset on the market, coming in second with a global market share of 3.4%. The iPhone 13 has a 1.8% and 1.6% market share, respectively. The iPhone SE 2022 ranked seventh with a 1.4% share of global smartphone sales, with five Apple handsets in the top 10 list. According to research, the iPhone SE 2022 topped the sales chart and captured 18% of the Japanese smartphone market.
However, its performance in the United States was slightly lower. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G and Samsung Galaxy A13 ranked fifth and sixth with 1.5% and 1.4% sales, respectively. More than 50% of Galaxy A13 sales are from India and Latin America.
The Galaxy A03 Core and Galaxy A53 5G came in eighth and ninth with 1.4% and 1.3% respectively. The A03 Core was a smartphone selling at a wholesale price of fewer than 100 dollars. Central America accounted for about two-thirds of its sales in April. The Redmi Note 11 LTE came in at number ten. Becoming the only Chinese smartphone to feature in the top 10 list with a 1.3% market share. The Note 11 LTE also accounted for 11% of Xiaomi’s total sales.
The research pointed out that the brand is facing supply problems. Its overall sales have decreased by about 25% as compared to April 2021.
