Welcome to the conclusion of the tantalizing romance of Erik and Livia.
The Songbird
Captive. Challenger. Queen.
Enemies took her from the man who held her heart. They might see her as weak, as a pawn in wicked games, but they’re no match for the first Ever Queen.
Let them think they’ve won. Her heart belongs to a beautiful monster, and she will never stop fighting until she’s back in his arms.
The Serpent
Captor. Villain. King.
His enemies stole the woman who claimed his soul. They betrayed him out of greed and desire for the crown, but they won’t die for that betrayal. No. They’ll die for touching her.
His heart belongs to a stunning little bird. He will never stop searching for her light across the skies. Not until the blood of his enemies spills at her feet, and his queen wears their bones around her neck.
Welcome back to the world of the Ever Kingdom where pirates collide with Vikings in passionate romance, brutal battles, and an unforgettable dark fantasy world. This book concludes the love story between Erik and Livia, but new, standalone romances with other favorite characters will continue to build the world.

Andrews. This series will continue to featuring side-character standalone romances set within the same world. Livia Ferus, crowned Queen of the Ever, has been betrayed and kidnapped by an unlikely foe. In light of an agonising betrayal and determined to return to her ferocious mate’s side, Livia must challenge all of her self-doubt in order to survive and learn about the enemies that have stolen her away from her home. Erik Bloodsinger will do whatever it takes to see the woman he loves returned to him alive. Even if that means facing the unknown of his mate’s homeland in the hopes of securing the help of her father; the man who murdered his own. Met with hate and distrust, Erik is running out of time and is growing desperate to rescue his mate from a man he thought he knew and once trusted. As opposing forces seek to drive them apart, Erik and Livia must work harder than ever to return to one another’s arms and take a stance against those that wish to tear them down. A battle of two Heirs is on the rise… and only one can emerge victorious as King of the Ever.To say I squealed when I received the email that I had been approved to receive an early copy of The Ever Queen is an understatement. I absolutely adored The Ever King when I finally picked it up several months back, and the conclusion to Livia and Erik’s duet did not disappoint. The pacing of this book was consistent with the first instalment to the series with its descriptive writing which left me enraptured from beginning to end. I could not put this book down and finished it within one sitting… that’s how obsessed I am. I was thrilled to see a more present role from Valen Ferus, father of Livia and the main character in the first three books in The Broken Kingdom series, and Steig. I adored both characters within their original series, and it’s such a joy to see a more present role on-page with the others including Elise, Kase, Sol, Tor, Ari and more. I’m so impressed with how seamlessly author L.J. Andrews has weaved and combined a lore filled with the past and the present, making new readers read with ease whilst previous readers can better appreciate and enjoy the inclusion of characters we have already grown to know and love. This book has just further cemented my sheer love and adoration for all things Livia Ferus. Livia holds all of the best qualities from her parents, and to see her utilise those qualities and strengths is such a joy as a fan of Valen and Elise. I always knew Valen would be the most amazing girl-dad, and his role within this book just further solidifies that claim. I adore that as a father Valen undoubtedly wants to see his children safe, loved and out of harm. Livia undergoes a lot of despair and torment in the first half of this story, and seeing the raw love and sense of family that she shares with her father is so special. Valen knows that as much as he wants to lock Livia away in a tower and throw away the key, he could never stop her from facing her fate and her potential. Valen is the best father, supporter, warrior, and leader to his children and people, and his involvement and addition to the story made it all the more sweeter. I already adored Livia as a character from The Ever King, and yet I had found more space for that love to grow after finishing The Ever Queen. Livia’s loyalty and fierceness are her greatest attributes, as are her loving and forgiving nature. She proves that she is not a woman who is to be deemed as meek and docile, and is instead a worthy adversary of her own right. Livia’s growth and strength was a thrilling journey to go on, and as sad as I am to be leaving her point-of-view in future instalments to the series, I firmly believe this will not be the last that we see or hear of Livia Ferus. The Ever Queen offers a deeper insight into the emotional vulnerability that can surround a deadly Sea Fae such as Erik Bloodsinger, King of the Ever. After the betrayal of a man he trusted and the kidnapping of his beloved mate, Erik is forced to seek help from outside forces who wish to see him dead as opposed to offering him the aid that he seeks. We see Erik go to great lengths and willingly risk his life several times to ensure the safe return of Livia. I absolutely loved the thrilling and deadly introduction to Erik during The Ever King, and I was glad to see a great deal of growth to his character in the second instalment to this series. Still dangerous and deadly to any who cross him, but with a reluctant willingness to emotionally let more people in. It was emotionally moving to read as Erik realised that he had never truly been as alone as he had thought, and that blood isn’t all that made a family. The explosive introduction between Erik and Valen as they forged a tentative agreement to see Livia returned home safely, his unspoken kinship with Steig, and the bonds he forged with his crew on the Ever Ship. Erik’s journey is more emotionally driven as opposed to physical, and seeing him gain a new insight on life and what being the ruler of the Ever Kingdom can be is absolutely everything. I’m going to miss this villainous and poisonous man so much, and I hope to see more appearances of him in future instalments to the series.I am truly amazed and impressed with the follow-up and conclusion to Erik and Livia’s duet in The Ever Queen. Author L.J. Andrews has set out to impress with the strong addition to The Ever Seas series, and I cannot wait to see what comes next for Jonas in his story The Mist Thief: A Dark Fantasy Romance.

This is book #2 in “The Ever Seas” series and it was the most beautiful conclusion to Erik and Livia’s love story.Did you have a moment where the book that you were reading was so good, you cry a little when it ends? This was that book for me. I never wanted it to end.LJ Andrews weaves a beautiful story of love, politics, intrigue, adventure and found family. The world building just got even better. The biggest highlight for me were all the side characters, they were written so well and held their own, I instantly fell in love with them all. It was not only Erik and Livia’s story, it was a beautiful story of all the people that loved them and considered them family, and stood by them.I laughed, I cried, I lost my cool, I smiled while reading this book. It was a whirlwind of emotions one after another. ð¤£Erik and Livia will always have my heart and this book only cemented that status. The way they love, respect, care and support each other is just swoon worthy.Ending with my favorite quote from the book.*Spoiler warning*…….âYou carry me through fears, Erik. Iâd like to lift you through burdens, thatâs all.âPS- If you haven’t read “The Ever King”, please please give it a chanceYou will not be disappointed.I also highly recommend “The Broken Kingdoms” series which focused more on their parents.

Such a fun, swashbuckling series.
I totally enjoyed The Ever Queen. I had to read it since I couldn’t put down The Ever King and had to know what happened. It has some gory parts, but it has romance, loyalty, pirates, Mermaids and so much more. Can’t wait to read the next book.

I love these types of fantasy books
This duet was everything and more! I absolutely loved these books. The pacing I found to be really good overall of course there was some slow parts but I really didnât mind them. Every single character throughout this book was just amazing and they brought so much to the story!Erik and Livia have my heart I love them together so much. I love how accepting and open armed everyone was for Erik and the same for Livia in the ever it was so heartwarming and emotional.I really liked that all of the heirs joined together to fight for Livia and help Erik it was just really nice to see everyone get together for the same person they love and slowly start to understand one another and become friends/family.And let me tell you I am sooooo excited for the next book with Jonas because I have a feeling that book is going to be so good!! Also I need a book for Mira and her love interest and a book for Celine my absolute favorite side character!!

Didnât expect that.
Spoilers: I had a complaint on the last book about her suddenly being all in and the trope of the secret evil brother. I was worried this addition would spiral and it didnât. It actually wrapped up into a HEA which was confusing at first but then you get hit with the last paragraph that sets up for the next book and now Iâm so excited. Good banter and wholesome friendships and family connections in this book. I only gave it four stars because it didnât capture me like other books have. High quality writing a a good story but I didnât want to jump in the book, you know?

An ok read
The action parts were great, the slower parts were drawn out too much. Might still read the next one in the series only because it will focus on a different character and hopefully be as enjoyable as the previous book.

Fantastic ending or beginning
What a fantastic ending and beginning! This book picks up exactly where the first one ends and the action and love doesn’t stop until the end of the book. Eric is on the search for his kidnapped heart, Livie, while she is fighting to get back to him. He hopes that enlisting her family will save her, but will it bring the bonds closer. There is so much fighting and blood loss, but all of it is told in such an intricate story that you can’t put the book down for fear of missing some bits of the story. Livie’s family rallying around her, and the Ever King was beautiful in its own right, but to plot and fight alongside one another was a whole new level of action and storytelling. It’s a dark love story at the center, but one worth every page you read.âOur choices, our actions, they chip away at us, shaping us, whittling out our potential. It is what we do with that potential that makes us who we are. Sometimes our choices are brutal, even wicked,â Stieg went on. âBut each one will carve a piece of us.â

I ran here from ever king
OMG. Livia and Eric ð¥°ð¥°ð¥°ð¥° alllthe swooning. All the giddy feet kicking giggly sweetness plus the viciously delicious revenge for betrayals. Gosh this man. Said that if anyone hurts you u will wear them. And I squeeeled with glee. I just wanted to wrap Eric up and hug him till he couldn’t remember his awful childhood. I can’t separate the Ever king and the Ever queen both books were so damn good. Side characters are so interesting and I can not wait for more! I’ll be starting Jonas book now :-)And I’ll be back tracking to the parents booksâ¤ï¸

Entertaining and sweet
This was a nice series. The world of the Ever and earth fae were interesting, with a twist of Norse folklore and history sprinkled in made it unique to many other similar royal fae romances. Also, however, it was very similar to many of them, so I didn’t find it all that gripping. The cast of characters was overflowing to the point that I never felt like I really knew any of them, besides the main few, beyond a passing acquaintance. Livia and the king were well rounded however. Their romance was incredibly sweet – maybe a little too sweet for my taste, but thats just me.I can’t say I loved these books, but neither did I dislike them. There were just things that took away from the story for me: like having something like 15 pages of detailed love scenes smushed into about 25 pages total at one point, and that wasn’t the only past of the book where the ‘heat’ got a bit cold for me. I skipped – a lot.But all in all, it is a decent duet. Its worth borrowing from KU, and maybe even the next story about a new couple.
