Too big with small lettering
The book itself is very big and the lettering is way too small and half the page is with annotations

Very convenient
This product was a great purchase. It has the biblical text and includes books that have been banned by the Catholic church. PLUS, I can get a better understanding of the text from the marginal notes that our forefathers made explains many various passages.

Straightforward and clear
The Geneva Bible 1560 is at least 50 years older than the King James Bible. Iâve read the King James Bible, and I was curious to any differences between the two. The Geneva Bible has extensive marginal notes that offer explanations and cross-references which is helpful for understanding the text and its intended purpose. The notes and cross-references create thoughtful engagement. The language is straightforward and clear.

THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT!
I have done the research for you. This is absolutely the best remade Geneva Bible.I have the original copy of Geneva and use it often to compare the KJV.This version is the absolute closest you will get to the original. All wording is the same, but with our modern day English spelling. No “u” or “v” swaps. Upon is upon, not vpon, S is an S, doesn’t look like an f, and so on.Very easy to read. All side notes are there, just very neatly labeled and placed at the bottom. No maps or graphs, just words. Which is fine, we all have plenty of those. This book doesn’t have “the argument ” sections at the beginning of each book, as seen in 1 Samuel picture. This is just the Geneva Bible, no backstory or letter to the Queen at the front of the book. Table of contents in pictures.Split page layout, awesome! Book name at bottom of every page by page number, awesome.677 pages that are thick and sturdy. I buy copy paper that is thinner than these pages.Type may be small for some people, but the split layout is so helpful to keep your place. Paper is off-white (ecru) so it doesn’t hurt your eyes like a white page would. This book is an absolute gem to find! I have searched for years. You will not regret this purchase.I am beyond thrilled to have found this book!(The two Geneva’s pictured are the best two. Green & tan cover is the original and black cover is modern English)
