Compre un GPS integrado para el coche y le costaba mucho coger satélites (cuando los cogÃa, que era muy rara vez). Leà en un foro que a similar problema, un cambio de antena de GSP lo solucionó. DIcho y hecho. Funciona perfectamente. Coge los satélites muy rápido y no he vuelto a tener problemas para navegar, incluso entre edificios en calles relativamente estrechas….muy recomendable.

A prescindere dalla spedizione super veloce di Amazon che ormai è una certezza fenomenale… L’antenna si è davvero fatta bene, ottimi materiali, dotata di calamita e strato adesivo per il fissaggio. Non abitando in una zona ottima per la ricezione del segnle GPS, devo dire che quest’antenna riesce a collegarsi a 9 satelliti nell’arco di circa 20 secondi… che dire.. super soddisfatto!!!!!!

No estoy seguro que funcione. ¿Cómo puedo probarlo? Tengo otra antena GPS, y esa si muestra los satélites. Ambas las alimento con 5 Volts…

I bought this GPS antenna to replace my failing cheap Chinese poop antenna fitted with the vehicle head unit and was surprised by the results. The base is magnetic to allow the GPS antenna to be mounted on the outside of the vehicle, although I have magnetically stuck it on the inside of the van roof and it picks up the GPS almost instantly. The old antenna took several seconds and gave up if not found before starting the journey. This GPS antenna is also amplified to provide a stronger signal to the sat nav but obviously you still need to be within the range of GPS signals. Amplification doesn’t overcome a poor GPS reception area. Generally, I am impressed by the performance of this device for the money and would definitely recommend. Downside, it comes from the States so potentially takes 2+ weeks for delivery.

I use this with a ublox M9N receiver in my car. It’s perfect for that use. Cable is pretty thin helping to route it via the trunk lid w/o putting holes in my car.

It’s definitely an upgrade
Replaced the GPS antenna that came with my android auto head unit and this was wonderful. I didn’t even know my GPS could pick up so well until I got this. Now it shows green wherever I go since the signal is so strong. I installed it in the A Pillar of my car for the best reception.Would definitely purchase this again.

plugged into my 2018 malibu 23 lsv Medallion Viper 2
gps signal synced right up. actually there’s a metal bar right under fiberglass that the magnet stuck to that still gave good signal without drilling holes. 2018 Malibu 23lsv. Medallion Viper 2 modul located behind driver bow seat rope locker. need this and specific Navionics sd card. to give gps and maps om 7 inch screen.

Works well
This item works well. Plenty of coax cable to reach just about anywhere youâd need it to go.The magnetic base is a bit weak. Thus the 3 stars for the âadhesionâ rating. Iâm placing it in a windowsill in my basement so not a big deal.Captures enough âbirdsâ for good lock majority of the time. Typically 5 or more. Sees up to 9 or 10 sometimes. Not bad for basement windowsill.Quite satisfied overall, and with seller.

Excellent, fast connectivity
I used this to improve the performance of my Adafruit Ultimate GPS and my Neo 6M GPS. In both cases, it cuts the satellite acquisition time from 10-20 minutes to about 30 seconds. It also improves the accuracy of the data: with the unit sitting on my desk (should be speed 0.00 knots if perfectly accurate), I got an average of 0.07 knots with this GPS and an average of 0.13 knots with the ceramic antenna that comes with the Neo 6M.

Overall good unit for thte money
This antenna solved the problem I had with the stock aftermarket antenna. The original radio antenna that came with the radio did not work very well while installed on top of the dashboard of my Chevy Express van. So, I installed this one on the roof top. It now works great. My signal is always good.
