Terrific challenge for students
This book has so many great activities for my gifted students! They enjoyed completing the activities and were able to challenge themselves. Activities included spatial reasoning, math puzzles, word puzzles, logic and focus games, and games. A great resource for a great price!!

Great challenge
This workbook is just as it sounds – a logic workbook for students who need a little extra challenge. I liked that the challenges started easier and got more difficult so students could have success right away to motivate them to keep working. Would definitely recommend for talented and gifted programs, early finishers, and anywhere students need an extra challenge.

Awesome logic puzzles!
These are geat logic puzzles geared towards upper elementary aged kids (that will probably some thought for adults to figure out, as well). They are significantly more challenging than the logic puzzles for gritty kids aged 6 – 10! I love using them as independent choice activities to challenge my highly capable students.

Logical reasoning at its best!
As a teacher for gifted students, these puzzles provided much needed challenges for even the most logic savvy students. Each puzzle is a new challenge and different way of thinking. If you have students in your classroom or at home who need more than the regular curriculum, I highly recommend this book.

Perfect for the minds that need a challenge!
I don’t often leave reviews. It’s usually because something has gone horribly wrong. BUT, this book is awesome, so I had to share! I got this book for my middle school gifted students. Looking for something that would challenge their brains. I print off 4 puzzles a week and they work on them in their free time. The first set, my hard to stump 8th graders were ready to pull out their hair. I call that a win. The challenge of it teaches kids to stick with it even when it’s a hard for them, and that’s a tough thing to do for kids that seem to know it all. I will admit I was skeptical about this book based on the cutesy characters on each page, but that adds to the fun of being hard to solve. The kids thought the puzzles were going to be so easy and they had to work to find the answers. One puzzle had a group of 10 arguing over the answer. That was so great to see. They spent time defending their answers naturally. If you are teaching gifted students or if you like a challenge, each page is a thinker. I was happily surprised! And I’m happy to say it will be well worth your money.

Another amazing activity book!
Full disclosure: I received a copy in advance for review as a teacher.I CANNOT say enough good things about the Gritty Kids workbooks and this one is no exception. The puzzles and challenges are gratifying for use if you have a kid who needs pushed to think about things in a manner that isn’t just straightforward math or reading. They have to actively process the challenges in the books to get through them properly.I use a variety of offerings from across the series in my gifted classroom as daily warm-ups and extra challenges.

Challenging but fair
Contains a wide variety of unique puzzlesâliterally every page offers a different challenge, which is fantastic. When my child encountered a puzzle that didnât click with him, he simply moved on to the next one that caught his interest. Donât let the artwork fool you, though; these puzzles are genuinely challenging. There are no âgotchasâ hereâitâs all about higher-level reasoning and logical thinking. In fact, many adults would find most of the puzzles challenging. Highly recommended for puzzle lovers or kids who enjoy a good challenge.
