A cook book cannot be complete without colorful and professional pictures for each recipe.I like though the type of recipes..they are the classic ones that we all do at our home, so it is nice to try a different way of doing them.

I love books like this. Good solid recipes, with nothing on the shopping list that’s not available from pretty much any supermarket. The beef stew was flavoursome and the lasagne very tasty. A good addition to my cook-book shelf.

I jumped for joy when I found this cookbook. This is what I have been on the lookout for years and I can’t wait to use it. It has the recipes that you forget to write down, end up improvising, and making less tasty versions. I know by just looking at the recipes, that this truly is a gem of a cookbook. Thank you for inspiring all the mama’s out there, creating this book and sharing it with the world. I hope to add some images to this review as I use the recipes.

There are some nice recipes in here such as the home made lasagna which takes you start to finish making this from scratch which is pretty awesome. There is also a mixture of some classic sweet recipes such as the banana bread and cookies. The instructions are clear to follow, but it would have been nice to have some pictures of what the final product should look like.

Delicious Home-Cooked Meals
This cookbook has some recipes that I have never seen in other cookbooks before.All the recipes look tasty and delicious, but the one Iâm going to try out first is the âHomemade Lasagnaâ with extra shredded colby cheese on top!I do wish it had more recipes and a table of contents though.

Good recipes but not user friendly
The recipes look good, but they’re not put together in any sort of organized way – deserts are next to entrees without any logical reason. There isn’t a table of contents so it’s hard to tell what recipes are actually included. And, on the eBook at least, the recipes aren’t on different pages so it can be hard to tell which steps go with which recipes. A good bit of changes are needed to the format in order to make the book more readable. The recipes do look good though

These dishes are evergreen, from homemade lasagna to hearty stews, fluffy pancakes, and beef tacos. Each recipe brings back fond memories of family meals. It’s a nice collection for anyone wanting to get that homely feel back to cooking. While I appreciate the conciseness of the book, having images of these dishes will make this cookbook more complete.

The recipes sound delicious, and the book is a delightful short read. The cover is beautiful. It would be nice to have photos of the completed recipes and a Table of Contents for easy retrieval of the recipes we want. I look forward to making the Chicken Tikka Masala!

Classic Home Recipes!
âHome Cooked Gems Cookbookâ has hearty and delicious meals, some of which my grandmother used to make for me. Reading it gave me memories of my childhood. The recipes are easy to make and are classic home recipes like lasagna, roast chicken, chocolate mousse, lemon bars, and more. My only complaint is that I wish there were photos of the dishes throughout the book. Thatâs the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. If you do want some classic recipes, this is a great book to get.
