I loved Jason and Audrey’s story. Jason is the new owner of her apartment and she’s giving him a list of all things wrong with her apartment especially the no heating. He offers her a place to stay until he can fix everything. But she turns him down because it’s too far away from.her job as a kindergarten teacher. He gives her his card incase she changes her mind. One night she drunk texts him and he turns up at her apartment. So begins their steamy romance. But Audrey’s hiding secrets which will put them all in danger including Jason’s 5 y/o daughter and his housekeeper in danger. Will Jason be able to protect them all and help save Audrey. If you love a hot steamy edge of the seat, page turning Bratva romance you will love this book.

How far would you go for love
Audrey and Jason’s story gave me all the feels. Audrey is trying to make a life for herself in Chicago. Working as a teacher for an elementary school nearby. Keeping her head down and staying out of trouble. All her plans get thrown out the window when she makes a visit to the new owner of her complex to inquire about simple updates to home. Nothing too drastic just heat in the cold months of Chicago is kind of a necessary.Deciding to heat up with a little liquid courage Audrey writes out her desires about her new building owner. But when you’re tipsy your hands are not very stable and accidents happen. The connection between them is undeniable. But when her past starts catching up…Audrey fears Jason will walk away and never look back. So lies the question how far would you go for love?

Seriously, you need to read this.
This was different from what I thought it was going to be in the best way. It grabs you refuses to let you put it down. K.C. Crowne has kicked it out of the park. The characters are incredibly real. Definitely read

    twist and turns
This silver fox story is amazing, so many twist that I wasn’t expecting! Jason didn’t know what hit him when Audrey walked into his office to tell him all about the to do list on his newly acquired property. Little did either know it wasn’t going to be a while ride.

    Audrey and Jason
This was kinda insta love. So a very fast set up. Then the story became really good. Audrey goes to complain about her buildings maintenance to the new owner of the building. What she doesn’t expect,is to see him as a hot older man. Audrey has baggage, though, and even though things are going well with her new “friend”, things can’t get serious or her “mafia Don” father will find her. What she doesnt know is that Jason is an Army Ranger veteran and he has enough connections to bring down her father and give them the life they only dream of together.

    A decent read
Sometimes a back story doesn’t quite work out. I wish authors would stop taking creative license with military labels and romantic notions of those labels. This was a work of fiction that didn’t quite work for me. I did like some of the characters and plot. An HEA that was good to get to.

  11. Amazonholic

    Good not great
This is a very good story line. Has fantastic writing skills and descriptive narrative. I just wish there was more back amd forth teasing. Really work the reader up to the big moment.

    Audrey and Jason
This story was super entertaining. There was a lot going on at times, but I enjoyed it. Audrey and Jason had such a strong and loving connection. I also love the relationship Audrey had with her brothers. I didn’t like the last minute decision that was made at the end at someone’s wedding, but I understand why it happened. I just didn’t like it. Still, it had action, lots and lots of spice, and love, and it all started with a drunk text.

  13. AmberJohnson

    Great Story
Audrey is tired of the run around the building managers are giving her, so she goes to the new owner of the building to make her complaints in person. Jason is stunned when she comes in and can’t believe all the stuff she is telling him about the building. He tells her that he will look into and get things fixed as soon as he can. however, that night Audrey has a little too much to drink and sends a very explicit text to Jason. The next morning when she sees his response she doesn’t know what to do. yet this is how things begin with them texting things back and forth until Jason can’t take it anymore and comes to her. Things are heating up between them and then her past coming crashing back to haunt her. Audrey ran away from her family because of their expectations of her and what they work in. Now she can hide her head in the sand because she has put others in danger because of her secret. Will jason give her a chance when he finds everything out? Can they find a way to be together? This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
