Delve into this raw and intimate compilation of poetry containing themes of childhood trauma, grief, difficult relationships and mental illness. In the first book in this series, ‘hurting’ Iris Rose reveals her true feelings on things usually unspoken about. This book breaks through the taboo of struggling on your healing journey.
The ‘Fragile Feelings’ series serves more than a collection of poetry; it’s a raw and unfiltered journey of healing, self-discovery, and the courage to face our deepest fears.

A beautiful quality book with poems that pick you up from a dark hole and make you realise you arenât alone. A shame dissolver. A friend. A hand to hold. Thank you Iris for being brave enough to share this with the world! It will be with me my whole life.

Dit boekje is essentieel voor iedereen die herstelt van een complex jeugdtrauma. De korte gedichten bieden inzichten in wat je altijd al wist, maar niet onder woorden kon brengen.

Good book but only minus about this book are thin covers because it bends with use

As a mental health survivor, this poetry speaks to me. Beautifully honest and vulnerable.

Powerful
Never thought I could relate so much to a book. It’s like someone managed to put my thoughts and feelings into words. Deep raw emotions from the very first poem.

Beautifully heart wrenching
Great book for those who struggle with finding their place in the world due to their internal battles leftover from childhood

Beautiful book of poetry!
If you are a surviver of childhood trauma, this book might be triggering especially to those who have not healed from that trauma. However the poems can be a soothing balm to survivors with still open wounds or who need to feel they are not alone in their experience. Reading Iris’s words, one doesn’t feel so alone. Her words can help a survivor know that whatever he or she is feeling, those feelings have a right to be felt. I applaud Iris for her courage to dive into her past and swim the currents necessary to heal.

A must read for someone with EIP/NARC Parent
This collection of poems offers a truly cathartic experience. The author’s way of painting a picture with their words takes the reader to such vulnerable places in their past, but somehow laces the pain with hope & forward movement. Despite the devastation on each page, there is a newfound sense of self-assuredness, confidence & clarity being expressed as the writer speaks of their past. This book is like a close friend who knows all your dark, chaotic, painful experiences from your dysfunctional childhood and allows you to cry, grow, and heal alongside them. No toxic positivity. No cutesie affirmations. Honest observations & hard truths. Cant wait for Part two. Thank you.
