A feral omega who can’t be tamed.
And I’ve bitten every alpha who’s tried.
Before they can either put me down or send me to a breeding facility, fate intervenes in the form of a masked spec-ops team that deals in death and destruction.
The Ghosts.
Valek, the wolfish serial killer plucked from death row.
Plague, the combat medic who deals death with surgical precision.
Whiskey, the big trash-talking himbo with a short fuse.
Wraith, the mute, scarred monster with a fractured mind.
And Thane, the stone-cold leader who rules his pack of rabid attack dogs with an iron fist.
The Council that oversees the last fragments of our society has decided the only thing that can tame these savage alphas is an omega. “Control the omegas, control the alphas,” as their infamous saying goes.
And we’re so rare, there’s only one omega they’re willing to risk.
Only one omega they view as disposable.

This dark omegaverse is set in a war-torn dystopian society structured around the alpha/beta/omega dynamic, with alphas holding most positions of power and omegas holding very little. There are no supernatural or paranormal elements in this omegaverse outside of alpha traits such as barks, pack structures, and enhanced physical abilities. Please see inside cover for themes.

This book was well written with good strong characters. The story line is strong, I was just a bit confused with all the masks when the characters werenât working other than Wraith. This is the first book I have read from this author.

Masked men, each with their own level of crazy, and a delicious heat at the end. I just wish Wraith got to be included, but I’m hoping for some more relationship development between him and Ivy in book 2.

Wooow!! I was a little scared because of the whole omegaverse-thing (there are many not so well written books in this genre) but this one definitely isn’t one of them. I truly enjoyed reading from all the perspectives and also loved how the different personalities where written. Aside from that it was exiting to read! I expected a smut-romance novel but I got a very gripping one with five obsessive alpha males (which are our favourite morally grey ones, hihi). I loved the way the author build up this world and I was kicking my feet because of their different dynamics and humor! This book is now one of my favourie books and I can’t wait to read the second book!!

This book is just incredible!! I was hesitant to read it at first because Ive got a bit fed up of the Omega being the only one who can reject an alpha bark in Omegaverse books, but after a friend recommended I dove in and I am so glad I did! Its absolutely amazing. I love the Omega, I love the Alphas, the angst between some of the guys. Ugh I’m telling you two books is not enough for me! I need more! I am in love with all these characters, can’t wait to see what book two brings

A Strong Heroine With An Indomitable Spirit
I have read a few Omegaverse books and most of them have strong female characters, but I think Ivy has the strongest will of them all. The amount of torture, both mental and physical, that she went through would have broken anyone, but she didn’t. And I love that the guys were not so mean to her. In fact, I find the insta-love plot quite charming. It’s unrealistic, of course, but in a world full of Alphas and Omegas, expect things to be unrealistic. However, this is the first Omegaverse book I read where the Betas rule the world. In other books, the Alphas controlled everything.

GO WRAITH
Okay, spoiler free: great book, great pacing, lovable characters, soft only for her vibes, LOVED IT. Loved the character development and love that ivy really brings the pack together. Every turn of ivyâs story will have you ready to riot! Now on to the spoilers: if wraith doesnât get some ass in the next book I am boycotting! I care too much about that big oaf! ð¤£ð¤£ also love the MM relationships, I love how ivy completely opens all these dummiesâ eyes!

Entertaining with dark character depth.
This was a great read! This isn’t your stereotypical omegaverse book. Each character has a depth that is dark and interesting in an even darker dystopian world.

This was EVERYTHING THAT I NEEDED
Omg idk what to say besides this scratched an itch i didn’t know i had! And Wraith…I’m obsessed with him! I need the next book in this series like I need air! Thank you for making the FMC so strong willed and not easily placated! The chase is so much fun. I . AM. OBSESSED. I’m gnawing at the bars of my enclosure for the next book.

good start, slowly declined
Ivyâs chapters grew so boring and repetitive I just skimmed them. She thought the same things over and over. Most annoying was how she seemed to know things about the men she had no way of knowing, or at least it was not described how she came to know those things, and so it was confusing and surprising – annoying. It is NOT a slow burn, not even a hint of feelings growing between any of them. The most I ever felt for this book was between the two men in the clinic, even though it came out of the blue. Honestly would have liked the book to ditch Ivy and have only the men, thatâs how boring she was.Towards the middle and end all the menâs povâs became boring and repetetive as well. Honestly got a sense of insta-love as well which was very disappointing for a self-proclaimed dark romance.Lost track of their bodies; suddenly they sat, then without description they were standing etc.Characters used the same descriptives for each other, repeated the same sentences etc.Theyâre said to be paychopaths and unhinged, but all of that was tell, not show. They read to me like regular people who simply thought of themselves as unhinged and criminal. Very disappointing. This book was not dark at all.The smut was lackluster and yet again i had no idea where their bodies were. I get the vision the author was going for, but it was boring and dull – and honestly disappointing. Theyâre described as unhinged monsters and psychopaths and yet it was just your regular schmegular smut. The vision did not deliver and it was disappointingly bland and average. It also came really out of the blue, both the smut and her want to do it, and âhowâ she wanted to do it – this made the smut more lackluster and disappointing because it came out of left field.Ivyâs thoughts were also weird during the smut. Strange and at odds with what she had thought before. Didnât match up.I did like the writing style, it was easy to read with a touch of poetry and darkness. Pesimissm (spelling? Lmao). There were several really good metaphors/descriptions I hadnât read before. And again, the start was very good and sucked me in, the book and characters just lost their way someplace in the middle. Donât think Iâll be reading anything else of this, or the author. I might though, read the next book, because I have a habit of feeling i left something unfinished if i donât know how things end. I will be skimming it though, if i wind up reading more.

Absolutely amazing
This was an amazing read- from the first sentence to the last. The author hooks you immediately into the the tortuous life Ivy has been through and carries you along with her on her journey for autonomy and freedom. Along side her story, the reader is exposed to the alpha pack that can lead to either her freedom or her death. Wonderfully written.

love love LOVED it!!
I love this. I like how well the author portrayed dark characters. You can see the twisted parts of them that are (slightly) relatable, and I deeply love how the author wrote a primal alpha. The back and forth between him being a monster and just a damaged alpha that has feelings was so nicely done.I also believe the author did an outstanding job of showing a fierce, stubborn omega who fights back but still very much has emotions and isnât afraid to protect herself.Very well done! Congratulations on your debut, author!!! You have another loyal reader waiting for you. <3

canât wait for the next!
If you liked Psycho Shifters or any other Jasmine Mas book – this is in a very similar wheel house, just (thankfully) without the cringe dialogue. Total binge book. And so fun to read at that. The MMCs were all unique and didnât eventually blend together like so many RH novels do. The FMC has a good backstory and a unique personality that I donât get to read in a lot of these supernatural/omegaverse books. Itâs a nice departure from the overly submissive omega trope and an even better departure from the BAMF in-your-face omega. The FMC genuinely has these somewhat intense bouts of being feral.I was lowkey hoping for some Wraith supremacy towards the end but it IS a RH for a reason I guess.
