Bestselling author Candace Ayers brings you SHORT “lunchtime quickie” reads—condensed romances intended to be read in under 2 hours!
Love is blind…and apparently pretty hairy
Love robbed me of everything.
The public scandal stole my pride, my joy, and my self-worth.
Grotto offers me a fresh start.
An underground city full of Sasquatches? Why not?
Then, along comes Olwydd—an 8 foot tall, growly beast who is completely smitten by me.
Or so he says.
But after my past, men who come on too strong make me nervous and trust is dirty word.
I wish he’d back off and leave me alone.
I think.
Maybe.
Don’t I?
This is a SHORT, feel-good, instalove-inspired, fated mates romance full of laugh-out-loud humor, sizzling chemistry, and heartwarming moments.
This series is a spin-off of the BfB: Dragons series.
Key tropes:
– Fish out of water / culture clash
– Fated mates
– Hidden identity
– Opposites attract
– Possessive cinnamon roll hero

Another fun read
While this novella can be read stand alone, I suggest reading the first novella as it has the setup of how the potential brides ended up in the Grotto. This is a fun quick read that will make you smile – and wish we had soul stones.
