They are basically each other’s doppelganger. And, no matter how proud and stubborn they are, they just can’t deny their chemistry in and out of the bedroom. Another perfect book from Ruth Stilling. I completely adored ðð®ðªð ð¡ð²ð·ð´ð®ð». The plot was engaging, the characters were relatable, and the chemistry between the MCâs was palpable. The love between JJ + Kate has truly shown since the first book in the series. Even if it took them a while to figure that out for themselves ð I was completely smitten with both JJ and Kate. Reading their journey to happily ever after was pure joy. Kate was such a beautiful and complex character. I loved her and empathized with her greatly. JJ was the perfect MMC. He really fought for Kate and never gave up hope that she was his endgame. They were magic together.Jensen freaking Jones is out here setting standards I didnât even know existed. This MMC had me continuously smiling and blushing throughout the book. I thoroughly enjoyed how absolutely feral this man was for the FMC. JJ was going borderline dark romance hero for Kate and I was living for every moment of it. This entire series is perfection but this book is just ð®âð¨Just from seeing these characters in the first two books in the series I knew I was going to love Kate and JJ BUT they completely exceeded my expectations. Kate is a serious boss babe, who is extremely guarded, career focused and sassy to her core. Our boy JJ is obsessive, possessive and has the dirtiest mouth. He is also so patient, kind, and thoughtful. He has been burned in the past but once he sees Kate Monroe he knows from that moment that she is IT for him and he will stop and nothing to make her see it too.Ruth you truly outdid yourself. Dead Rinker is book 3 in the Seattle Scorpions series and follows Jensen (aka JJ) and Kate!! This IS a surprise prègnancy book so if thatâs not for you than donât read it lol but itâs an absolute yes for me!! JJ is the definition of a man obsessed. This man wanted nothing more in the world than to have Kate by his side. He would go to bat for her 10x over. The way he stood up to her parentsâ¦like swoon. I was thinking when he was told about Kate being pregnant that it would cause some turmoil between them but omg he was just sooo supportive! I loved seeing the way Kate started to open up to love, after being so closed off cause of her upbringing. Watching her slowly fall in love with JJ was perfect! And also I swear the hockey goalies are a different breed. Like he was just, ugh I donât even know. I think JJ is probably my favorite Ruth Stilling MMC to date. He seemed a little overbearing at times but overall I loved him as a whole! He was supportive and driven and fun and caring and would literally do anything for Kate and the babies! Kate was a strong workaholic FMC but at times seemed a little whiney for my liking lol her problem with JJ was from a miss communication and it for sure could have been avoided! But over all this book was a banger and Iâd let JJ be my goalie any dayâ¦sorry hubby ð

I am absolutely obsessed with this series, so I was so excited for this story to be released, and let me tell you it was an absolute masterpiece and I loved it so much !!I fell in love with Kate during book 1, her sass, her confidence, and just the way that sheâs a girls girl who is always there for her friends and she is a badass queen. From the very opening line, I fell in love with her even more and her character was so beautiful and sassy and I loved her development and just everything about her. Her story and her journey are just so beautiful to witness and she is truly incredible.JJ, I instantly fell in love with him in this book. He makes some questionable decisions at the beginning, but his journey, his love and his light are so beautiful and we love a possessive MMC. I absolutely loved his story and also getting to explore his character more in depth, and his arc as we explore his past and his insecurities.And if you know me, I am a huge sucker for the accidental pregnancy trope (not for everyone, which I definitely understand) and this added such a beautiful layer to the story and really shaped their dynamic and growth as individuals and together. I think Ruth portrayed this so beautifully, with the emotions, the journey, and just the feelings and everything involved.I also really loved seeing each of our couples from the first books and how close knit their found family dynamic is and I just absolutely love this series, the writing is incredible, and the characters are everything!! I devoured this story in one sitting and I know Iâm gonna go back and read it again and again! Each book is unique and beautiful in its own way, and I love seeing them connected and sharing the stories across the series.
