My boss got me pregnant.
Made me marry him.
And now…

“What do you mean, ‘you’re sending me away’?
Is this some kind of joke?”

But the look on Arsen’s face says nothing about this is funny.
He means it: he’s sending me and our newborn baby to God knows where for God knows how long.

It’s “for my safety”?
Yeah, I’ve heard that line before.
It’s what men say when they’re doing something for themselves.

But fine.
If that’s what Arsen wants, he can have it.

But I’m taking my heart with me.
So if he wants the family we signed on the dotted line to create…

He’ll have to come fight for it.

SCARRED QUEEN is Book 2 of the Adamov Bratva duet. Arsen and Laila’s story begins in Book 1, SCARRED KING.

I have read both books in this series twice. Well written, rounded cgaracters and good storyline. I very rarely read a book more than once but would highly recommend these two.

    A Sweet Bratva Romance
Scarred Queen picks up a few months where we left off in the previous book in this duet, Scarred King. Arsen is still dealing with the aftermath of resolving the danger that Laila and Nina are in however this has all come at the cost of incredible distance between the two that has left them broken and disconnected. As they come back together, Laila finds herself unable to trust Arsen not to send her away again. The emotions surrounding Laila’s mom’s illness and ultimate passing left me distraught. Very recently, I too lost someone who was my ultimate soulmate to pancreatic cancer so the emotions and wreckage hit me too much in this book. It was written so well that I found myself reliving the pain and feelings of loss so hats off to Naomi West for writing it so well. Marie was amazing throughout the duet and was truly missed.Although seeing them separated was hard, the grovelling in this book was top tier! Their bickering was excellent and funny, him speaking to her while she just texts him? SO REAL! What I loved most about Arsen was that he wasn’t the typical macho “do everything I say” bratva boss, he was understand of Laila, tried to do his best instead of just yelling at everyone, he was HUMAN. Ultimately, Arsen’s development into a proper husband and father was his strength and this couple was absolutely heartwarming.“You’re the sun to my rose. Always and forever.”The found family aspect was also so good. Dominik, Kira, Gedeon, Polina, even Guilia and Enzo were such a welcome addition to the extended Adamov family, I was glad that although Laila lost a parent, she gained a loving support system. It was endearing and made for a fun read. All in all, this book to me was really about building a marriage. From start to end, you see the couple coming to terms with their relationship and inevitably fighting their fears to be with each other. Nina was the most adorable child ever and I loved the epilogue, it really made for a perfect ending. Naomi West has done it again and as always I cannot wait for the next duet.

    Predictable but still enjoyed it!
This story is the 2nd in the duet. The story became a predictable Bratva Romance ie alpha Bratva boss meets vulnerable woman, takes her “hostage” to protect her and they have a lot fights and making up. I still found the characters fun and the story enjoyable. If you like Bratva Romance than you should read this duet!.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was the perfect ending!! I’m so glad Artem was “tamed” and found happiness with Laila. This author did an awesome job of telling their story.

Fantastic Continuation of Arsen and Laila’s Story
“Scarred Queen” continues the gripping saga of Arsen and Laila, picking up right where the first book left us, and it does not disappoint. Naomi West has crafted a powerful narrative that delves deeper into their tumultuous relationship and the challenges they face within the brutal world of the Adamov Bratva.Laila’s journey is especially compelling in this sequel. I truly appreciated how she didn’t forgive Arsen right away; it felt authentic and showcased her strength. Her reluctance to simply move past the pain he caused added a layer of realism that often gets overlooked in romance. Watching her grapple with her emotions made me connect with her on a much deeper level.Arsen is equally complex, burdened by his own demons and the weight of his past decisions. The tension between them is palpable, and the way their love story unfolds is both heart-wrenching and beautiful. West expertly balances the darkness of their world with moments of tenderness, reminding us that love can be both a sanctuary and a battlefield. The pacing of “Scarred Queen” kept me on the edge of my seat, and while some plot points felt familiar, the character development shone through. Each twist and turn made their journey feel unique and kept me invested in their fate. This book is a fantastic continuation of Arsen and Laila’s story, filled with emotional depth and intense moments. If you enjoyed the first installment, you’ll find this one equally captivating. I can’t wait to see how their story evolves in the next book!

    Fascinating, intriguing book!
Just like book one, this saga kept me glued to the pages! I lost a lot of sleep because I just couldn’t put it down! There were tense moments when I couldn’t catch my breath, dread came over me, and then sweet, sweet moments that were so touching. Truly two books that have it all. I highly recommend both of these books!
