If you’re using Google Chrome as your default browser, setting up Google as your startup page is a quick and easy process. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to set up Google as your startup page in Chrome.

Step 1: Open Chrome Settings

The first step is to open the settings menu in Google Chrome. To do this, click on the three vertical dots located in the top-right corner of the browser window. From the drop-down menu, select ‘Settings’.

Step 2: Set Google as Startup Page

In the settings menu, scroll down until you find the ‘On startup’ section. Here, you’ll see an option to ‘Open a specific page or set of pages’. Click on the ‘Add a new page’ button.

A new tab will open, and you’ll be prompted to enter the URL of the page you want to set as your startup page. In this case, you’ll want to enter ‘www.google.com’.

Step 3: Save Changes

After entering the URL, click the ‘Add’ button to save the changes. You’ll notice that ‘www.google.com’ is now listed as one of the startup pages.

If you want to remove any existing startup pages, you can click on the three vertical dots next to the page and select ‘Remove’.

Step 4: Restart Chrome

Once you have set Google as your startup page, you’ll need to restart Chrome for the changes to take effect. Simply close all Chrome windows and relaunch the browser.
