She’s a silent angel bound to misery… and the weakness he never saw coming.

Rose
I was a good girl.
I followed the rules, did what I was told, and signed the songs of my people every Sunday morning at the Chapel.
But everything changed when I lost my voice. Since then, a crack of doubt has been spreading in my mind like wildfire.
So when I saw my new neighbor move in with his bike and his breathtaking tattoos, I couldn’t resist, like a moth drawn to a flame.
Only I didn’t know that I couldn’t keep my light without learning to dance with his darkness.
Between duty and freedom, what choice will I make?

Vox
I thought I’d never feel this…ache in my chest again.
After the accident, I held on to the things that kept me alive: my bike and my brothers.
But the walls I’ve built around my heart keep crumbling down each time I see my Angel.
I should push her away, protect her from my dark and twisted world.
But she awakens in me the primal urge to protect her and save her from her cult.
Only she doesn’t know that the price of her freedom will be my sacrifice.
Will I save myself from hurting again, or will I jump from a cliff and save my Angel ?

Vox and Rose, wow just wow.Fantastic start to a new MC story, love both Vox and Rose. The story was written to perfection. If anything I wish that the ending could of been more about them, finding there perfect life and maybe a few love scenes would of made it perfect.

Saw this on TikTok and decided to give it a go because it was a biker boy and a mute girl couple, which sounded really sweet. The book being closed-door meant that the focus was more on the relationship development, and I thought the pacing was well executed.Low rating because of the lack of editing and the weird inconsistences throughout the writing. Vox would have a heavy accent in one chapter, and other times he’d drop the accent. The use of “hum” in the middle of a sentence in place of “um” was off-putting as well. If I had to drink every time Vox said the f-word, I would probably have liver failure.Overall, cute little 300 page story that sadly felt very fanfiction-y and the writing was not the best.

Not for me but i couldn’t put it down lol
I liked the trope and romance. I just don’t like all the violence and stuff. Realistically, if I was rose, I don’t think I could fall for a guy who stalked me and tortured people. The way I see it they are both trapped. He’s trapped in his gang and she was trapped in her cult. I wish he could leave his gang. None of what he does is socially acceptable to me. But I love the way he was so gentle and loving towards her. And the nicknames!!! I’m okay with violence in like fantasy and historic novels when it’s like acceptable. But they are just murderers for real, and the torture aspect just seemed unnecessary to me. I guess I’m just a softy.

    this was a rollercoaster!!
This was my first time reading a story that delves into cults and indoctrination. It was very interesting to watch Rose wrestle with her teachings but still have that gut feeling that there was something off. I liked watching her fire grow more and more as the book went on. Vox, that teddy bear of a murderer, is adorbs and so gentle with her. I really really liked how he respected every boundary that she hard. That was refreshing! Rose and Vox had such pure love!

Closed door romanceGives off “I claim you” vibesI thought it was really good, I’ve never read something quite like this before so it was different! I do think you should go in if your like me not expecting there to be to many f bombs – there in every sentence. But other than that I thought it was good! Exited to read the next one!!
