Worth every penny, I highly recommend this this boxset to any one who loves Halloween
This box that is very nice put together These movies are nice and remastered in 4K. They cleaned up his movies very nice.I Would recommend. These Halloween movies to any fan who loves Halloween for the first time or is a big fan of this franchise picture quality is nice beautiful colors and sound it sucks that they did not sell this individually so I advise people if they can afford it get this box set before it goes up in price and you will pay out of the nose on eBay. shout factory knocked it out of the ballpark I hope they sell this individually as it’s not fair that they just sell you the set and there’s no way to go it which is a bummer this contains Halloween 6 through 8 set includes Halloween 6 produces cut and the 4k regular cut in 4k also I think it’s worth every penny alone but and no digital code for any of the movies, but in my opinion, that’s the only thing I got to say about this set all the movies was nice and remastered beautiful picture sound quality they clean the all movies all very well I never thought these movies will look as good as I thought was I wrong

A collection of worthy 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray upgrades
I have been wanting to upgrade the Halloween films from DVDs to 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays. Not only do I like the quality of the films, but I also love the extra features added to the Blu-rays. I have also been wanting to watch the Unrated Producer’s Cut of Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers and it was worth watching because I didn’t like how the Theatrical cut was handled.

HALLOWEEN 4K UHD + BLU-RAY COLLECTION PARTS VI – VIII.
Scream Factory releases on both UHD and Blu-ray Halloween’s Part VI, VII, and VIII, released in 1995, 1998, and 2002, completing the series that had begun last year when Parts I – V were released separately, and here they are included together in the sturdy slide-in slipcovers that are a good feature to have. I cannot presently view the UHD discs, so will focus solely on the Blu-rays.”Halloween VI: The Curse of Michael Myers” – A 4-disc set that includes both the theatrical and unreleased producers cut in both UHD and Blu-ray, looking their best in HD, a huge upgrade over the barebones Miramax DVD, now including a new audio commentary on the theatrical cut by writer Daniel Farrands and co-star Mariane Hagen. The extras from the 2014 Scream Factory collection are mostly ported over.”Halloween VII: H20 Twenty Years Later” – A 2-disc set that is also a big HD upgrade over the Miramax DVD, not porting over those few extras, but including all the previous ones from the old collection.”Halloween VIII: Resurrection” – A 2-disc set that is a decent HD upgrade over the Miramax DVD, porting over most of those extras minus the director’s commentary on the deleted scenes and alternate endings for some strange reason. Now includes several new on-camera interviews with cast and crew.On the films themselves, the franchise had gone wrong by this point, with the then new studio rights holders Dimension/Miramax (now owned by Paramount Studios) not having a coherent vision for the films, leaving us with the narrative trainwreck that was both cuts of Part VI, then having that film (and the two previous) ignored entirely for H2O, though the dedicated fans have still made it connect regardless, extending even to Resurrection, which picks up from H20 in a way that angered most fans, then told a(then) modern story with different characters that was not well received either. The franchise was later rebooted entirely by Rob Zombie in a controversial 2-part remake, then the new Laurie Strode/Jamie Lee Curtis centered trilogy which ignored everything after the first!A pity that this series was reduced to a “Choose Your Own Adventure” timeline that infuriated most, and proved to be more trick than treat…:(

Awesome Collection, Great Value, Pros & Cons List Included.
I was super geeked when I heard about this Halloween 4K UHD collection being released and it doesn’t disappoint. Here’s my PROS & CONSPROS1. HALLOWEEN 6: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS INCLUDES THE THEATRICAL CUT & THE PRODUCER’S CUT IN 4K UHD!This is a HUGE plus and in my opinion, this makes the collection a MUST HAVE. The Halloween 6 Producer’s Cut has only been released on Blu Ray two times and the individual Blu Ray is OUT OF PRINT. Which means to find a copy, you’d have to find one on EBAY or something and that will run you 100 plus dollars to find a new copy. The Producer’s Cut was also released in the Halloween Blu Ray boxset that Shout Factory released years ago, but this boxset is extremely pricey, you’ll pay over 200 dollars to find that box set because it’s also OUT OF PRINT.I bought this collection on sale on Amazon for 100 dollars, so the inclusion of the Producer’s Cut in 4K UHD & on Blu Ray is worth the price of this box set alone to me. I saw some people in the reviews complaining about the price, but I think this box set is a steal, especially if you can find it for 100 bucks on sale. All the other 4K UHD Halloween movies that Shout Factory has released began retailing at 35.00 dollars so this price seems fair and right in line with the other Halloween releases. And with how expensive it would be to find the Producer’s Cut on Blu Ray, getting it in 4K & Blu Ray with this collection is a great value.2. INDIVIDUAL BOXES! I wasn’t sure when this collection was announced if the movies were going to have individual boxes with their own unique art like the other Halloween 4K movies Shout Factory released. BUT I’m happy to report that each movie has it’s own unique box so they’ll fit right in with your Halloween 4K Collection. The boxes / art for Halloween 6 & H20 are fantastic, Resurrection isn’t as cool as the other two, but still super happy that each movie came with it’s individual box. You can check out the boxes in the pictures I’ve included!3. All movies are superb in 4K UHD just like the previous 4K UHD releases, there’s no drop in quality and the movies all look and sound the best they ever have.4. Huge amount of Extras, TV Spots, Interviews, Trailers, Still Galleries, there’s a bunch of cool extras included just like the other Halloween 4K movies.CONS1. There’s only one Con that I can find with this set. Because of The inclusion of the Producer’s Cut on 4K UHD & Blu Ray, the Halloween 6 case has 4 discs. The other two movies each have two discs in there cases. Therefore the Halloween 6 case uses different disc holders, these disc holders are flush with the discs and not very secure, this results in the discs being able to come loose more easily. So, I would use caution when opening and closing the Halloween 6 case because there is a possibility the discs may come loose and fall out if opened too roughly. H20 & Resurrection have different disc holders and the discs are much more secure in those cases. That’s all I got on this set, it’s a great collection in my opinion. I give it a 9 out of 10. If the Halloween 6 case had more secure disc holders, this would be a 10.If you own the other Halloween Movies in 4K UHD from Shout Factory, then these are a no brainer.ADD THEM TO YOUR COLLECTION!
