Enoch was a prophet who led the people of Zion. His ministry is discussed in the Old Testament. He was the seventh patriarch after Adam. He was the son of Jared and the father of Methuselah (Gen. 5:18â24; Luke 3:37).Enoch was a great person and had a more significant ministry than the Bibleâs brief account of him indicates. The Bible notes that he was translated (Heb. 11:5) but gives no details of his ministry. Jude 1:14 contains a quotation from a prophecy he made. Latter-day revelation explains much more of Enoch, specifically his preaching, his city called Zion, his visions, and his prophecies. Zion was taken to heaven because of the righteousness of those living there.When I read the Book of Enoch, I absorbed some exciting information that helped me understand the Bible. Not all information was necessary to be in the Book of Enoch, but itâs a great way to imagine how vision was in those times. Some people would prefer to have the Lord or the prophets interpret the scriptures in our day, but I enjoyed learning from this book; its words are very educational and uplifting.I like the pictures; I like the formatting and the very well-organized book.

People have been fascinated about Enoch and his prophecies for years. Prior to reading this book all I really knew was that there was controversy surrounding Enoch and that he led the people out of Zion.
