I wish I had read the reviews before paying good money for this and the second âseasonâ. Itâs drawn out and gets nowhere. The storyline continues on and on with every dramatic event that the author can stuff in. Donât waste your time or money. Iâd give it less than one star if I could have.

I found this book on webnoel but I had a look on here to see if it was here as I couldn’t wait to read it alllll….Talk about a love triangle and twists and turns….also o shows you how family isn’t always blood.Have had a look on webnovel for next book but it’s not on there yet even though says it is. I cant wait to read the next one

Not the typical shifter romance
There were a few surprises in this story. Starting off as the typical “abused shifter mated to strong alpha” romance, it sure didn’t turn out to develop like all the other ones. Can’t wait for book 2!

I wish Iâd heeded the warnings of all the 1&2 star ratings for this âbookâ, but I was suckered into this via FB reels advertising.The problem with this book is that itâs not a book. Itâs a novella about a young shifter woman who is repeatedly abused and SA. Iâm not sure why some authors think that having a MFC be constantly abused or coerced into sex (even if it is due to their overpowering wolf shifter heat) is sexy. It is not sexy in any way, shape or form. It is heartbreaking and gross. When I read a romance I understand that a character may go through difficulties, but I, along with most romance readers, are not buying romance stories to read about a 20 year old virgin who is forced to give a blow job to her tormentor/abuser in the first few chapters of a story. We do not read it to have said virgin basically almost be assaulted by her fated mate when they first met. We do not want to read further into a story that describes her heat as so âpowerfulâ that she has sex with the first Alpha (who is not her fated mate) who is nice to her and because the heat has her so overwhelmed. Honestly, her heat felt like another person in the story who assaulted her. My whole point is NONE of this is romantic to me. Also, donât get me started on the ending which is weird and not an ending. I honestly donât care how it all ends. I will not be buying book two.The only reason I would give this book one star is that the writing is not terrible, but lack of romance, no discernible plot, the SA/abuse, and so many other things do make this book terrible.Save your money friends. This book ainât it.

Not Worth It
I originally read part of this book on the web novel app. I paid about $8 for that. Then I decided it would be cheaper to buy the full first season on Kindle for about $9. This book started out so much better than typical web serial. The plot and writing were both decent and I enjoyed the characters. Unfortunately Chapter 28 was where the story really devolved into crazy town. The story blurb and the beginning chapters really leave the impression that this is a simple shifter romance. It is anything but and that is not a good thing. I hate Selene and her relationship with Ava. The lore is extremely muddled and confusing. Ava’s heat is as ridiculous in this story as it is in almost every other story that utilizes that particular trope. If I like the book otherwise I will overlook it’s use. I do not like this book so it really grated on me. At about chapter 48 I was over the whole thing so I skimmed around and read the ending which was underwhelming at best. The book of the next season is about $10 or you can go back to web novel and pay a lot more than that to continue. I will not be doing so.

Great story about a young wolf trying to escape her abusive family and pack. While she gains emotional strength to overcome her past, life has other plans. Her struggles and triumphs keeps the reader on their toes and eager to read the next chapter. Cannot wait to find out how the story ends

Easy read
There are some typos, and it’s a bit cliché, but it’s also catchy and a good read. I wouldn’t say it’s worth $9 for how short it is though, and probably wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known it was barely a full story. If it’d been $3, then maybe. Just be prepared to be disappointed at the premature cut off for the cost.
