Chesterfield is just like any small town you’ve ever visited.

The only exception is the Eldritch being controlling the town, but hey, the rents are cheap.

Allow me to tell you thirteen tales of misery and despair unlike any you have ever heard.

While I have you here let me just add one more to the population sign.

Even if you want to leave you can’t. You belong to Chesterfield now.

    Z does it again!
If y’all haven’t read or listened to Tales from Chesterfield by Z Martin, what are you doing? These short stories were great. My favorite was Good Luck Charm.

A great collection of short stories.
Z gives us a mix of stories in this collection. I enjoyed listening to the audio book version. If you are in need of something quick and entertaining, give this one a try!

    Quick little read
Chesterfield isn’t the same anymore!Tales From Chesterfield is a combination of stories inside a story. It takes you to a place taken over by what seems to be an evil God, where terrible things happen. Would you visit? The book, for me, was hard to follow. The stories went rather too quickly and could have had more depth. A quick read.

Must-read for those who enjoy horror and dark fantasy
Tales From Chesterfield is a must-read for those who enjoy horror and dark fantasy. Z Martin’s ability to weave together tales of cosmic and folk horror with the creepiness of a small town is noteworthy. The book is sure to leave readers with a lasting sense of dread and curiosity about the nightmarish town of Chesterfield and its inhabitants. If you’re seeking a collection of brief but horrifying stories, this book is a great choice.

    Wonderful!
I absolutely love this collection! The stories have an interesting poetic quality and the descriptions are superb. The visuals are terrifying. The first story, Another Day in Chesterfield really sets the mood for the doomed town. I really enjoyed how experimental each tale is.Being in retail, I could definitely relate to the story, The Chesterfield Quick Trip. I’ve had some crazy encounters. Thankfully, no encounters with monsters. Though we all believe we have ghosts in the stores I’ve worked in. The other half of the collection that has “Rejects” are great too. I loved the twists in them. Some of the images in Grandma’s House had me gagging and I felt the little girl’s fear. That story is vividly told! That’s probably my favorite one, besides Good Luck Charm.

Great book of short little stories
This is a very short story collection. The author crafts numerous tales about the weird things happening throughout Chesterfield. They spanned a bunch of different areas that could affect the town- convenience marts, acting auditions, trick or treating, and more. Chesterfield isn’t a place I’d want to visit! Four stars because some stories are just a little too short (and I like a nice short book). Recommend for people wanting a quick read and something that has some spooky to it, but is nothing overly gory. Read the book through KU.

Awesome collection of creepy short stories!
Though these take place in the town of Chesterfield, if you live in a small town of your own (as I do), these stories will make you think twice about the possible horrifying secrets your own town may be hiding.Read this one in just a couple of hours and let me just say… the book doesn’t suck!
