With enough changes of pace and storyline to keep it interesting, yet keeping true to the premise of the book, Noah/Vermil and the crew rise to all the challenges. These books are page turners.

Another superb entry in the series. The delightful snarky banter is still here in full force, but the book is actually very wholesome. The characters really care about each other, and I love how the protagonist is using his overpowered magic to learn more about how magic works and help his friends become overpowered too. This book has a lot of shapeshifters pretending to be other people, both benignly and very creepily. Some of it is distinctly unsettling. But if you can cope with that you’ll find a fantastic continuation of this great fantasy LitRPG series. Great work, Actus: keep them coming!

Fantastic addition to the series. Everyone is growing in power but the changes scale proportionally to keep tension and interest. Characterization remains strong and writing quality is very good. If you have read the first 3 books in the series there is absolutely no reason not to keep enjoying following the group through this book. A fun read from Actus as usual.

Finally coming together
Up till now the story felt lopsided. It just didnât make sense with all the weird runes that didnât seem to match. That has really changed the last two books and the story has a more defined direction.Really enjoying how this is playing out with all the apprentices patterns. Super fun and interesting.

Infuriating in the best way
This book makes me mad because it’s so good and I’m going to have to wait for the next one. There were a couple weird edit things but way less than normal books of this genre. To the author I just want to say keep up the good work and thank you for such a wonderful story.

Excellent!
Another fine installment in an excellent and creative series. Good characters in a well-written and engaging world. I look forward to the next book.

group story
I like how the story has been able to focus on the group of three. Side characters provide interest, but the main group is the center. Nice story construction. Never a big fan of gods all over the place in a story.

My favorite series.
This book series is absolutely fantastic. It has a great main cast and supporting characters. They are the kind of people that would be fun to hang out with. The magic system is really interesting and fun to think about. I definitely recommend it.

enjoyed the book
I like the style of writing and the fast pace of the storyline. itâs characters are likable and pleasant and mesh well together. the way theyâre presented is somewhat predictable but that adds to the charm. keeping track of who is who
