Good, yes, good value for money, not sure.
Amazon Vime Product, FYI.So, I’ve used multiple gaming mice over the years, and the Basilisk V3 35k is a fine example of the features I’ve come to expect. More ergonomic, wider array of buttons that are easy to use for faster-paced gaming, good DPI control. The color LED and schema are about average for the price point (Amazon suggested this is worth $69.99) and I’ll come back to that. A couple features different/standout from my prior models.1. The fabric covered power cable. Now, this claims to reduce cable friction for high-twitch gaming. I suspect they’re right, the older, rubberized cables did tend to have a touch of snag if something happened and you needed more cable pulled, although with a high precision mouse, it’s less of an issue than days gone by.2. Mouse scroll wheel levels. I do like this feature – you can control the level of feedback on the scroll, from traditional where you feel each “click” as it were, to nearly free spinning. Which is great in that I don’t have to pick one OR the other as some models mention. Two minor issues/concerns that may affect your choice. One, yes, you have to go to download Razer’s software to control the RGB. Yeah, it’s not surprising, but unlike the documentation, it isn’t plug and play, I had to go dig up the website, search, and download manually. Not a problem, but not a smooth process either.Second, is price to value. This is NOT an inexpensive product at the $79.99 US price point it’s listed at. You could probably get 80% of the features at roughly half this price, although not all of them. And I can’t evaluate it’s “learning potential” per the specs, where it detects and matches performance to the surface, although if I exceed the area of my mousepad, it seems better than my prior model at evaluating the pickup and replacement on the pad.But it’s still a good product, and especially if Amazon is giving a sale on it, might be a good fit for you if you want something very responsive, with a few extra buttons than the norm. And if you’re pushing hard at your PC gaming, then that 20% you’re NOT able to get out of the budget friendly examples I mentioned before may make the difference you need.

One of the best Razer Products for Large Hands and Precision Aiming!
I have owned the viper mouse, wireless deathadder, and deathadder essential, and I am a little mad I am just now trying out the Basilisk considering how useful it is for my personal needs. I will admit, it took me long enough solely bc of how turned off I initially was to how much bigger this is than their other peers. It’s not the biggest mouse I have ever seen, but I put emphasis on how this is very much for large hands which I do have (for a woman). Typically, I use the standard/medium sized mice. When using this to play Fortnite, the first thing I noticed was how incredibly useful the Sensitivity clutch is. The sensitivity clutch is an extra “toggle” or button on the side of the mouse close to the up and down buttons. This feature helps with precision aiming, and it really helps if you need help with aim. This is especially useful for new/beginner keyboard and mouse gamers or any kbm gamer that need assistance with aim. Remember, I started this review noting how frustrating I am at myself for being late to the Basilisk discovery. I have been gaming on my keyboard and mouse for the last 2 years, and this would have been so helpful for me in the beginning. Finally, the RGB lighting is another standout feature. Not just on the razer logo (which your hand covers anyway), but on the bottom of the mouse which provides a super cool glow like image on your desk and mousepad. I love it!I love this so much, I may eventually upgrade to a wireless version of this. But the wired is pretty sufficient to me so far.I would highly recommend this for gamers looking for performance and style, or for gamers that could use a little help with precision aiming!
