My 2015 K900 came with a credit-card sized keyless entry/ignition card powered by a single CR2412 “coin” cell. They typically last between 12~18 months, sometimes less. These ultra-thin batteries are nearly impossible to find in retail stores and the Kia dealer charges 10x what they should, thus I order on-line. This is my 4th time ordering from Amazon (but a different vendor). Previous Amazon-purchased batteries only lasted 10 months, the next time I bought 2 – one lasted just almost 2 years, the 2nd only a few months. Just goes to prove that some folks sell old/outdated batteries as new.These batteries had nearly 3.2 Volts open circuit, and 3.13V under high resistance load. I’m storing the “extra” in the refrigerator – hoping to extend their lifespan by slowing chemical reaction. I hope these last at least 12-18 months. So far, very happy having my keyless entry/ignition system working again.

Just in time for summer
We waited too long to get the tower fan out of storage, so it was really hot when we discovered the remote battery was nearly drained. We ordered a battery, expecting it in a couple days. However, it arrived the next morning, before the day started to heat up. Battery worked fine.

exact replacement for alarm sensor
i don’t really believe it but I took the battery out of my alarm sensor and it was labeled Murata. had no idea what brand that was but it lasted for 3 years. was on amazon and was amazed to see that they had Murata batteries. figured that I would buy the brand that came with the sensor since it lasted for a pretty long time. got six batteries for a very good price. will be interested to see how long they last.
