Very nice cooling fan
Very nice addition to your headset. Worked perfectly. Easy to install. Great directions. Fit perfect on my VR. Great value.

erffective but a little noisy
This works better than the others I’ve tried both for the Quest 2 and the 3 in terms of air flow and cooling things down while involved in games with a lot of movement. I’m not a fan of the rubber nose guard as I feel myself starting to sweat under it but it’s removable so it’s easy to go either way with that part. The interface that presses against the face is nice and breathable. It’s a bit noisy, especially at the speeds that are most effective but with two fans in it, I’m not surprised and it’s a tradeoff I’m okay with for gaming.

Finally
I’ve been looking for a fan to help keep me cool while working out and this one is pretty good. I’ve been through a few now that were worthless, including the built in one on the more popular, more expensive after market Quest 3 headstrap that is so popular. This isn’t heavy like that one was, and it actually works. I also like the padding around the face, it’s compatible with the amount of sweat I generate and is pretty easy to clean.

Quest 3 Vs Quest 3s?
I just picked up a Quest 3s and I don’t know if that’s a different model then the 3, but this definitely does not fit my 3s. To install this you need to take off the faceplate the Quest comes with and then as you see in the pictures, this will then pop in. My faceplate shape (for lack of better words) is different than this fan.The actual quality of the product felt decent for the money. I turned the fan on just to see and I see what people mean by it is a little louder. I personally do sim racing with them and then have headphones on over the VR straps and covering my ears, so you would have no issue if you game that way. If I could get this to fit, it would be a game changer. If you have fog issues, they do have anti-fog that’s safe for VR. I have some and it definitely works.

Didn’t realize I needed this until I got one!
I have always had fogging issues with the Quest 3, especially when using a cover over the cloth foam face plate. The old assembly just yanks off of the headset and snaps this one on. I like the fact that it has a slot to connect the top strap to, which is much easier to thread than the one on the headset. The side adjustment for moving the headset closer or further away from the eyes is fantastic. I have always struggled with the factory option as I would sometimes accidently move one side or the other requiring you to remove the headset to correct. The fan even on high is not too loud, and the foam face seal is very comfortable. Most importantly the fogging issue is now solved thanks to this device.

Works well compared to other fans but itâs a bit loud
This is a decent cooling fan for your Quest 3.Airflow:Other manufacturers have fans that either PUSH air into the face area or they PULL air out of the face area. They then rely on vents in the interface to allow proper air flow. This cooling fan on the other hand is using 2 fans. One fan is pushing air into the face area while the other is pulling air out. In this regards, this does a decent job of keeping the interior cooler than the other fans I have. There are no passive vents so if the fans are not on, itâs possible for the interior to heat up faster than those that do have passive vents. I should also note that the intake fan on the right side (as you are facing it) pulls in air from the front while the exhaust fan on the left side pushes air out to the side. Somebody put thought into this and itâs much appreciated!Loudness:Because this unit has 2 fans, it is much louder than its competitors. This is true even on its lowest setting (1 out of 3). If youâre playing a game with the volume up, you probably wonât notice the fan noise but I definitely notice the noise on levels 2 and 3.Light bleed:Everybodyâs face shape is different so this is probably a bit subjective. For me, I only notice just the slightest bit of light bleed in the upper corners when I look in those directions. Looking more closely at the outside, itâs possible that this is occurring because the interface itself feels slightly more narrow than other facial interfaces and because of that pressure (on the sides), it might be causing the interface to leak a little light. But even with that, the light bleed is much less than the other half-dozen interfaces I have. And of particular note is the nose area. All of the other facial interfaces I have allow varying level of light bleed past the nasal area. This interface, however, COMPLETELY blocks the light. The design of the rubber nose piece is different than others in that it goes quite wide within the nose area AND thereâs a lip that folds down, which when you have it on causes it to touch your nose. I didnât find it irritating and if anything, I liked this part a lot because it does such a good job blocking light around the nose.Adjustments:There are 2 knobs on either size that you can turn. This then causes the spacer to lengthen or shorten, allowing for glasses or allowing you to adjust the pressure on your face, especially if you have a halo strap.Halo Straps:Iâve included 4 pictures, 2 are of a generic Halo strap and the other 2 are from a Bobo S3. For the generic halo strap, I was able to make it fit without any issues. Itâs because the arms on this halo strap adjust up and down. The issue comes with the Bobo S3 where the arms are at fixed angles. Because I canât adjust the angle, I canât get the pad on the interface to be flush with the pad on the halo. The arms do slide back and forth on the Bobo but the next issue is that the plastic loop on top of the interface doesnât allow the Bobo strap to slide any further forward. Long story short, this facial interface is not compatible with the Bobo S3.Conclusion:If youâre looking for a facial interface that has a built in fan, I think this is a REALLY good option for a fan that moves a decent amount of air. The only drawbacks that I can honestly see is that this does not work with the Bobo S3 halo strap and the fan noise which is louder than all of the other facial interfaces with built in fans. If you use a different head strap, then this is a really good option.

Just a fantastic addition I wish came out even earlier
So I always had a fan for my quest 2 as the Fresnel lenses would fog on me a lot, but there hadn’t been a solution for the quest 3 as the pancake lenses only really fogged up during longer play sessions with more active games. That’s a problem no longer. These fans have 3 power settings which literally level 1 is all I need as they do a fantastic job clearing up any sweat or humidity that builds up in my headset. I also love the adjustable side for distance from the lenses as I have some family members that like to try out VR that wear glasses and the adjustability by default is terrible and this knob works great. It’s a little large, but it works great
