Bought it as a christmas gift for my parents so they could have a portable speaker with them when they go to the beach or play cards outside. They to this day had enjoyed using it. It holds a good charge, sounds amazing and was easy for them to connect to their phone and play music. I loved this product and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a small portable speaker.

In order to link my Megatek speaker to the bluetooth transmitter I had to directly activate the transmitter to make the connection. I also discovered that I have to repeatedly press the volume buttons to raise or lower the volume instead of holding the buttons down continuously. This critical information was not in the pamphlet. I liked the longer charging chord.

Even though a place to order with multiple items, this product actually came extremely later than the rest of them and I had one that was a little bit bigger that I purchased at a namebrand cell phone store that held up for at least I want to say eight or nine years, traveling out of the country and being near water, and always had a really nice soundand kept a good charge. I went with this one to check it out because the price but still donât feel like it was worth the price cause I purchased one for less at an actual. And kept a good charge. I bought these specifically to demonstrate a music streamer that will be connected via 3.5mm aux cable so that’s what I tested most. The sound is not bass thumping of course, not for this size and price, but it’s not bad for just listening, especially background. I let it run on a full charge on my desk while I worked to see how long the battery would actually last. I had it at a moderately high volume level to make it a valid test scenario and the quality was not bad. That is, if it were too bad, I wouldn’t be able to stand it for so long as I’m kind of an audio snob.You can’t get a whole lot of volume out of it before you get distortion, but that’s totally to be expected. I don’t know that you want it for a patio party, even if you pair two together the way the directions say you can. Again, good for background, but not for actually listening to music in that large of an area.So, I had to walk away at one point, so I don’t know the exact time, but the battery ran out after a full charge between 10 and 11.25 hours. Most of this was at a moderately high level aside from about 50-60 minutes when I had it turned almost completely to be on the phone.To charge from that “mostly dead” battery then, it took between 90 and 105 minutes (I was checking it every 15 minutes).I ordered 2 of these for my application but was fully prepared to have to return them if they sucked, but they’re keepers.
