Like going back in time, but in a good way
I’m old enough to have used the old tactile desktop keyboards in the 1990s and 2000s and this keyboard has that feel, only better. Actuation of the keys feels very crisp, with a real sense of feedback that you have “clicked” a key. The size is a bit larger than my laptop keyboard but is still more compact than a desktop keyboard. It doesn’t have a num pad, which is ok with me since I haven’t used it in years. However it does have arrow keys and every other standard laptop key. So far both gaming and typing feel quite smooth. I am still experimenting with the split and tilt (this is my first split keyboard) but both offer flexible configuration. Build quality looks quite robust–as you would hope given the price–and the key switches are ultra premium German made Cherry MX ones. Overall I’m quite happy with this keyboard.

The best keyboard I personally have ever owned
Okay, so I have been using mechanical keyboards for years now. I am just a level below “enthusiast”. I own 6 different mechanical keyboards, including this one.This is by far the best keyboard I have ever owned. I am not gonna lie, the moment I used this for the first time I was kind of disgusted that the keys weren’t loud, or thocky, or clacky. They were near silent and sounded almost like a romer/membrane keyboard.The keys have a tiny bit of a squish to them, but not like an actual membrane keyboard. I’ll admit they aren’t quite as satisfying as my other keyboards. Especially the one that I built that sounds like little marbles hitting each other. They press with almost 0 resistance and the bottoming out has a little squish/give. Probably what makes them so quiet.As I type this review out on this keyboard I have not had to look down at the keys at all as I type. The keys require just enough force that you aren’t going to frequently mistype a neighboring letter like I do on so many other linear key types.I have been playing computer games on this keyboard as well and the ability to tilt the keyboard at an angle for ergonomics is amazing after using a keyboard all day.PROS:-Split keyboard. Able to find your comfiest board position-Phenomenal keys. the quality of these keys cannot be overstated.-Very customizable back lighting options. I found this static amber that I am in love with.CONS:-Poor battery life (1.5 days, with RGB lights off)-Back plane rattle (just a tiny bit that I can only hear if I am in a perfectly silent room. this might also be solved with o-ringing the keys)All in all this is probably the best keyboard I have ever owned. The quality of the keys are truly amazing and they are almost perfectly silent. I am very tempted to buy another one of these and take it to work to type on. Since I have not been able to keep a mechanical keyboard at work for longer than a week without my coworkers complaining to me about the noise levels.
