Love the purple color! However…
The purple color is beautiful. They have 6 different light patterns. It is battery operated (2 AAs) and you have 2 ways of controlling the light patterns – the button on the battery pack and the remote. However, when I received my package, the remote was literally broken in half, so I didn’t get to use them the way I would have liked. But other than that, I liked them!

Long, bright and awesome = spooky fun!
LOVE these! This is a very long string of lights compared to other battery-powered strands I’ve purchased. The lead from the battery case is very generous, close to the six feet advertised. The light string itself is probably long enough to fill a six to eight foot space such as over a mantlepiece.They are impressively bright. Have included a film I shot of them in a dark room showing one of the light patterns (there are several, some of which don’t seem all that distinct from one another but having the variety will be fun.) Note that you cannot change the light color – they’re purple, but again the light is really bright which isn’t always the case with purple bulbs.The print on them is clean and clear so they look like good quality. The Halloween motifs could be larger, I’d say they’re about three inches high. So again, maybe a space like a mantlepiece as an accent light combined with a garland perhaps.The battery case has a watertight gasket on it so you could probably put these outside although personally I wouldn’t submerge the battery case actually in water.The remote is icing on the cake and the pattern controls almost seem redundant since you can control the light patterns directly from the battery case (note that you CANNOT control the timer function from the battery case – remote only.) But it’d be nice if you were seated on the couch, didn’t want to get up and felt like mixing up the pattern a bit. Honestly I don’t know if you can control more than one string of these with the remote since I only ordered one string but I may order another and try.I’m going to really enjoy these during the most wonderful time of the year – Halloween!!

Perfect Halloween parties
One of the best decorations you can get for kids Halloween parties. Easy to string up, timer was perfect, and batteries lasted a long time. Great light!

Great but stopped working after 2 weeks 🙁
I really liked the string lights they are very durable since they are metal but not too heavy. I got them the week before Halloween and they worked just fine however they started getting dimmer and dimmer. Figured the batteries were running low so I switched them out and it worked but less than a week later they no longer turned on. New batteries and everything and no lights. Was excited when Christmas ones were released but rather not spend money on something that will stop working after 2weeks. As you can see I enjoy decorating and prefer to reuse than to rebuy, what a shame. They were sooo cute

These looked very nice in my front windows. Although I would have preferred them to have been a little larger they were still attractive and noticeable. I will continue to use them for the Halloween season.
