When I attempt to power my Garmin GPS (a Garmin 770 RV model), the Garmin indicates that the device doesn’t produce enough power to charge the Garmin and the Garmin GPS eventually dims and will run out of power.When I attempt to power my Garmin Dash Cam with this, the Dash Cam comes up with a message to say that a USB device is connected and asks if I would like to enter Mass Storage Mode. The trouble is that the Dash Cam won’t record video while it displays this message. So, I need to remember to reach over and respond to the Garmin every time I start the vehicle. If I forget or the Dash Cam is to far for me to respond without getting out of my seat, the Dash Cam is useless.

First one broke after a year all of the sudden, but was sent a new one for free
When it works it works very well. Although it plugs into the cigarette lighter with forceâ you need to sort of jam it in there pretty hard and that is concerning because Iâm always afraid itâll break like the last time. It just broke all of a sudden and you could hear a piece of plastic rattling around in there, I contacted the manufacturer and explained the situation and they sent me a new one right away for free. That was very nice of them but I bought one more just to have just in case.Overall it does itâs job and thatâs all you can ask for. Just make sure you order the correct one that has the right ending, whether itâs to USB-A, USB-C, micro USB or whatever it is because I went through a few before I found this one which was the correct one..Lastly, I applaud the manufacturer for standing by their product and sending me a new one. That was very nice of them and they honored their warranty just as they said they would. I would recommend this product overall..
