Surprisingly good
This charger works surprisingly well! The square adapter does feel substantially lighter weight than the Apple adapter, however, so far so good! I have not noticed any overheating. I love that the design of the adapter and both chords is nearly identical to Appleâs. I also love that this comes with both the USB-C to USB-C cord, and the magnetic cord as well. Works well, especially for the price!

Charger NOT as described or shown (pictured)
While I thought that this product would be great; when I opened the box I noticed the wrong product was in the box. The picture on Amazon and what is described “About this item” shows Charger for MacBook Pro 16, 14 INch…. USB-C to Mag 3 Power Adapter; however, that is not what I received.Also, the end of the plug looks to be really flimsy, does NOT fit snuggly into the plug casing and appears to be made of cheap plastic. For these reasons I am extremely inhibited to plug into my wall, nor my $3000 MacBook Pro.I would not recommend this product until they fix their plug, and send what is advertised.

Mine didn’t work
You can never have too many chargers for your Macbook Pro! I like to have one in my office, one in my home office, one by the kitchen, etc. That way I can plug in wherever. So when I saw this MacBook Pro M3 charger, I had to try it!First the good: The charger is hefty and feels exactly like an Apple charger. If I didn’t know it wasn’t OEM, you could have fooled me. The cord that connects the charger to my Macbook is better than Apple’s. It’s made of a nice fabric weave that looks like it could hold up for years, and feels great in hand.Now the bad: Mine didn’t work. When I plugged it in, it charged for a while, but my Macbook kept “dinging” like it does when you plug, then unplug, then replug in a charger. It’s like the connection kept disconnecting then reconnecting. On day two, it wouldn’t even light up.So, I’ll give it two stars because of the quality materials, but sadly, I got a bum unit and have to pass. Not recommended.

Great value and quality
The ad reads 70w and if you look at the pictures for the ad, shows 96w, well I got 96w which is great as my new MacBook uses the higher wattage. Extra bonus, it came with two cables a USB-C to USB-C 6′ and a USB-C to Mag-3 also 6′. Anyway, I got a lot more than expected and that don’t happen often. Nice quality and a great value. Pretty good for a non OEM charger
This charger works well.Itâs lighter in weight than the OEM charger, but seams to work just as well.Charges my devices quickly and doesnât overheat, so that is good.The 2 cables that it comes with feel like good quality.The cable with the MagSafe charging end has a nice braided cable sleeve like OEM Mac ones do.I recommend this product to anyone needing a replacement charger or a second charger.Update: While I still feel this is a good charger, I did notice that when I charged my ipad with it, the ipad seamed to die much faster. It charged it quickly though. I don’t know if this charger is doing something to make the battery not last as long or if it is just my imagination. If I find out a definitive answer, I will update. I just wanted to add this observation.

I have a macbook pro 16″ and the charger stopped working. I found out the issue was with the MegSafe 3 cable when I visited my local Apple store. They sell an Apple MegaSafe 3 cable but it’s $50. This charger adapter and cable combo cost $35. I think if I purchase both the adapter and cable from Apple it’ll cost me way above $100. It also came with a usb-c to usb-c cable.I plugged in my Macbook and it started charging.The size of the power adapter is the same as my original macbook pro 16″ power adapter but much lighter. The original power adapter feels more solid. After charging my macbook for 5 minutes I noticed the power adapter got warm. Warmer than the original adapter. Of course the apple imprint is not present.The MegSafe 3 cable looks the same as the original cable.

Just like the real thing!
I lost my newer Macbook charger which is the new magnet way and I freaked out until I found this handy device. It has a proper macbook block that goes into a wall or now into a usbc but with the block I could change it out to a plug for a more permanent set up. Nothing heated up weirdly and it worked perfectly. Definitely recommend!
