   This DC 19v charger from Alitove is a well made and functional charger. I have been looking for a charger for my device which needs a 19v 3.42a charger with specific black tip design. I was delighted to find that this charger comes with with this tip. I plugged the Alitove adapter into my device and it worked right away.The Alitove comes with10 different colour coded tips to fit other devices that require a DC 19v power supply.I recommend the Alitove adapter. It is as good as the original.

   This is a reasonably decent albeit basic (i.e. non-adjustable voltage) AC/DC adapter/power supply that appears well-built and works as expected without issues. It’s rated for 65W (19V/3.42) so it will work with any device (and not necessarily just laptops, monitors, labeler, cutting tool, LED strip lights, computer/electronics, or table/desk lamps etc) requiring 19V (or around 18.7-19.5V) as long as the current draw is no more than 3.42A (or realistically around sustained 2.736-3.078A just to be safe).It comes with 9x tips (i.e. barrel connectors) of various size, which is great although the naming scheme of these adapters are just messed up because they are all over the place without a standard so you will need to check and make sure the tip match the dimension of your existing device. Btw, the default/main barrel connector is 5.5×2.5 mm but it’s also interchangeable and compatible with 5.5×2.1 mm if need be.✘ Note that this ONLY works for devices requiring specific voltages supported by this adapter and it WILL permanent damage any devices that do NOT support at least the voltage selected (and it’s 19V in this case). For instance, if your device requires 12V and it’s connected to this adapter, it WILL likely kill the device, permanently and instantly (and you will know due to a slight burning smell).On the other hand, if your devices require 24V or 28V (not sure if they exist but just for the sake of examples), this adapter will NOT work although many devices are capable of running at slightly lower voltages (17V/18V devices might still work, if they exist) than required but HIGHER voltages are always risky unless you know exactly what the tolerances are.###≡ Physical buildThe physical build quality seems decent although it’s of the same plastic construction typical found with most other AC/DC adapters of similar styles. The same can be said for the DC tips (i.e. barrel connectors) included; typical quality and they can certainly be better; though, again, they do work just fine. Unfortunately, the adapter itself does NOT have any safety certification which is disappointing to see. With that being said, it does have a 3-prong power cord instead of the usual 2-prong variety (i.e. C7 coupler aka infinity connector) which is a point in their favor.≡ Safety note (from official gov sites)✔ Electrical products that plug into an electrical outlet must meet Canadian national safety standards and be certified by an accredited certification body.✔ Always check for certification marks, such as CSA, cUL, or cETL, before purchasing electrical products that plug into an electrical outlet. These marks indicate that the products are assessed and conform to the required Canadian national safety standard.✔ Do not buy or use electrical products that plug into an electrical outlet without a certification mark.While some people would argue that these safety certifications means little or even nothing because there are products out there with safety cert that fail to perform while others without it have performed better in comparison. I’d say that’s fallaciously misguided simply because exceptions are never to be used as supportive arguments to statements that are inherently untrue.Do you stop using seatbelts because someone died of accidents while wearing one? Is driver’s license unnecessary because more accidents are caused by those with valid licenses than not? There are countless examples I could think of but most importantly is the undisputed fact that it is the Canadian law and it’s there to minimize harm and not necessarily eliminate it. If the idea of certifications (safety or otherwise) are truly useless, then our civilization would crumble. In either case, I’d choose and support products with any of the 3 certs mentioned above any day over products that have none. The choice is of course yours, as always.###≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a reasonably decent AC/DC adapter/power supply that works just fine and as expected without issues (so far). This can be used to power a variety of devices including laptops, LED light strips, certain network gears (SOHO switches, routers etc), security cameras, some video/audio devices etc as long as those devices require 19V with less than 2.736-3.078A as the constant load (i.e. 80-90% of rating amperage, just to be safe). It’s somewhat reasonably priced at $30 for what it provides and its overall build quality (would be great if it has a safety certification though), features, usability, and performance (so far). Your mileage might vary.

   This is a great addition to any household’s storage as you never know when a laptop charger will bite the dust, or get lost. This solves that problem, even if multiple family members have devices that need something like this.This is a great gadget to have; it’s pretty much a steal at $30.

   didn’t work at first, might need an xacto knife
   I sent a shipment of similar units back as none gave me a power light on the Acer Chromebooks I wanted to power on. Looked like they were just dead on arrival. The ZAYAUPVL / Alitove version at first gave me the same result. Frustrated, I forced the plug into the jack and saw a flicker of blue.Had to get an xacto knife and trim 2 to 3mm of plastic at the base of the plug. This lengthened the metal portion and allowed it to make proper contact. In the first photo, out of the box, the plug’s metal part is approx. 11mm. This didn’t work. The second photo shows the plug after trimming, and the metal part is approx. 13.5mm now. This allows for proper contact and powers the device up.While it was a minor nuisance to do the trimming on all the units I got, having this workaround allowed me to keep my deadline. Not sure which manufacturer missed the correct specs, but the charger vendors are probably processing a lot of returns as a consequence.

   Stopped working after 4 months. ALITOVE’s warranty submission page turns up 505 error
   I purchased this power supply for my Positive Grid Spark 40 amplifier. At first it worked fine, but the plug was very loose going into the DC jack of the amp. After just 4 months of light use, the power supply ceased to work at all. I tested on other 19v devices and no luck. I even went as far as replacing the DC jack in my amp just to be sure!When I went to file a warranty claim on ALITOVE’s website, their warranty submission conveniently could not process and kept coming up with a error. So with no way to get a resolution, I guess I am just out of luck and money. Very poor quality and service.

   The Spark Amp power supply you need…
   If a link on a guitar forum brought you here, it’s because THIS is the power supply you want if you own a Positive Grid Spark Amp that suffers from extreme buzzing due to PG equipping the device with an ungrounded power supply. Yes, they will send you a replacement, someday, but this ALITOVE is inexpensive and immediately available – AND IT WORKS GREAT because the buzz is instantly gone!The plug on this adapter is right angled while the PG supplied one is straight (see photo). I thought that might be a problem, but it clears the back of the case just fine. Neither plug inserts fully into the Spark. The metal shaft length appears to be about the same length, but I didn’t measure them with calipers. Bottom line: it works!

    Perfect replacement/alternative power supply adapter for MSI Modern 15 A10M-449 laptop
    This was the perfect replacement/alternative (Non-OEM) power supply adapter for my MSI Modern 15 A10M-449 laptop compared to other alternatives that “might work” or I hoped would work and were quite expensive. The cord is actually a bit longer than the one MSI shipped with the laptop and I needed a 2nd one for use in another location. I didn’t want to pay the price that many are selling for on the site, so I took a chance this would work based on one other buyers review and I am adding my thoughts to reinforce their suggestion. Very pleased, it works great for my particular model laptop and it was less than half the price of other “Possible” alternative/replacement power supply adapters.

    Used for a guitar amp
    This worked perfectly. My power cord went missing during a move. I couldn’t power up my amp for my guitar. I was able to finally do so with this. Works perfectly
