This is a great charger, and it worked for a failed charger on an HP computer and on a ASUSD laptop too.It comes with so many tips that you can fit it to almost anything. I recommend this charger.

Good laptop charger!
Needed a replacement charger for a Dell laptop and this of course had the tip required to power the laptop.Works just like the original but I have the option of moving it to other laptops and devices if needed, which is always nice!

I’m not a computer genius so I’m open to the idea that I’m the problem, and not this power cord. I’ve had this Dell laptop for several years and I haven’t had any issues with it until recently. (It’s pretty bare-bones and obviously not a gaming laptop or anything fancy.) My power cord stopped working to charge my laptop. My husband’s gaming laptop had the same size tip so I’ve been stealing his cord and it works great on mine.So I finally ordered myself this new cord. It had a couple tips that fit in my laptop but it isn’t charging! When I plug it into the wall, there’s a little green light on the box part that indicates the cord is getting power. And when I plug it into the computer, it indicates that it recognizes that a cord is plugged in.Here’s where it gets weird: sometimes a screen will pop up that says, “Dell Command Power Manager. The power adapter attached to your system is not recognized. Attach a supported power adapter with at least 65 watts.” So it wants a cord at least 65 watts but this cord is 90 watts.Even weirder, if I use my computer while it’s plugged in, then it will stay at the same battery power level. I used it yesterday for about 3 hours and it was at 71% charge the entire time. However, if I plug it in while my computer is off (or sleeping) and leave it alone even over night, it will not gain a single tiny percentage or charge. What the heck?

Power supply for the masses
This is a review for 90W 16Tips Universal Laptop Charger – Fit for HP Dell Acer Asus Lenovo Samsung LG IBM Google Toshiba Sony Fujitsu MacBook Pro Gateway Notebook Ultrabook Chromebook Power Adapter Supply Cord.If you deal with laptops a lot, this is something you should have. Instead of having 16 separate power supplies, you now have one power supply with 16 different heads. And the spread of what computers are covered, why would go another route? I now have 4 of these universal power supplies and so glad I do have them. I can now quickly and easily rule out if itâs the power supply and not even have to worry if the customer remembered to bring their power supply or not.I used a volt meter to check all the heads and they all worked as advertised. All the connections were sturdy and secure. It also has several safeties built in to protect you, the power supply and the component you are plugging it in to. Make sure that select the proper wattage you need though. All power supplies are not equal.

Finally found the right piece…
We have an old laptop that has been impossible to find a replacement power adapter for. I was hoping that this pack would have what we needed, and it did! There were a few that seemed to fit, which was strange, but only one of them gave power to the laptop. Very pleased to have found a proper fit, and we can use it for other things as well.

I run a small electronics repair business and see a multitude of different types of devices pass through. This power supply has been of great use for this reason. I have mainly used it on laptops as they all seem to have different adapter sizes. With the amount of different sized connectors that this came with it just seemed like a no trainer. Have had no issues with current draw or functionality.
