Excellent value
This performs well and is a direct replacement for the OEM power supply that had the cable start fraying. This is a substantially better value than purchasing from Apple with no degradation in performance.

Great replacement charger with strong magnet “click” when attaching, I like it
Forgive my dirty computer keyboard, having kids around will do that! This charger worked great as a replacement for the macbook as the original was getting dangerously frayed and worn. This plugged in and turns orange while charging, green when charged, works like the original and the magnet clicks in for a strong connection. Recommended!

A Good Backup
I’m a mobile worker and am often moving with my Macbook between my living room, my home office, and my boat. It’s a pain to be continually unplugging and carrying around my charger, so I bought a couple of spares, including this Vine procurement. Works fine. As you probably know, many of the third-party chargers heat up quite a bit and can even melt and cause fires (ask me how I know about the former–fortunately, not about the latter). No unreasonable heating with this one, though I’ll still only leave it charging the computer when I’m home and awake for the time being–trust but verify and all that.

Giving another life line to an old laptop
Works perfect with my older A1398 Macbook Pro. The cable snapped to the laptop port just like the OEM used to before it decided to take a hike. The charger comes with the prong to directly connect it to an outlet but I did still have the thicker cord that I was able to swap out with to give a little extra length. The OEM cord and this charger work perfectly together.Just like the OEM version it does have the hooks that pop out so you can wrap your cord around it and it also has a velcro strap. Between the two you should be covered to keep things organized.This was a really good price at the time of writing this and works perfectly. No complaints whatsoever.

Works like the original!
My 16 year daughter recently inherited a 2014 13″ MacBook Air from my Mom. She’s a junior at a high school where she will have an associate degree by the time she graduates high school. As a result, she has a lot of homework, and much of it requires the use of a computer. With 4 kids in the house, we need multiple computers.The 2014 MacBook Air, considering its age, came with a few problems. One was the battery required servicing, and the other was the charging cable. While it did work, it clearly had aged. The clips for where you’d wind the cord around it were broken, everything had yellowed, and a part of the cable was showing wires exposed. To be safe, I wanted to get my daughter a new charger, and happened across this one.It came in a generic brown box, and literally had the charger itself in there, and a manual that made me laugh. The manual said, “Manuel” on the front. :-)At $17, this thing looks exactly like the original. It seems to be built well, and connects just fine to my daughter’s Air. It charges faster than ever, and doesn’t have broken clips! She’s able to easily wind the cable around, and she’s been very happy with this replacement charger. Definitely recommend this one!

works for a 2017 A1466 MacBook Air
I was very pleased to receive this promptly, and it has worked fine so far in the last day. The listings are confusing, but this is the 5/8 inch input, not the longer narrow one in a few pictures. As far as I can tell, it looks the same as the original Apple charger I bought with the MacBook Air 2017 A1466 model, and while I don’t know if it’s the same charging strength, it worked rapidly. I’m happy with this purchase.
