I had bought another replacement before and my Lenovo laptop would sometimes not recognize the adapter. So, I purchased this one and it works just like the original, with the exception that it seems to be newer technology. It is lighter and smaller and the wires seem more sturdy.

broken after 30 min
got it delivered this afternoon, and used it to replace my old charger for the Lenovo X1 extreme . It worked for the first 50 min, but then suddenly it had a large sound of explosion followed by a big smoke smell. No sign of smoke though. Then completely stopped charging or working. So do not trust or buy this product. The marked allowed voltage is 100-240V, and actual input is 220V.
