A great little handheld game.
This is a great little handheld game console with 500 amazing games to play. You can play the games on the little console or the console came with everything needed to hook up to the TV to play on a much larger screen, now that’s pretty incredible. I am gifting this handheld game console to my nephew.

Love the idea, hate the cheapness of it
Just wanted something simple for my kids to play games I grew up withâ¦.and it has a few Mario, so even though they balked at a less fancy Mario world, they were hooked all the same within a few minutes.The device itself is very light, made of cheap plastic, and the buttons on this particular one arenât very responsive and Iâve really got to jam them down at times and at other times, it doesnât even register that I selected anything. Weâve tried hooking it up to the tv, on different tvs and the av cable is crap. The screen on the handheld device flashes in and out and the sound doesnât catch, gotta unplug and reattach and twist a few times to get it. On various tvs, itâs all the same. And the separate controller is even less responsive. So while I LOVE the idea, it needs some better quality upgrades to the equipment. Even if that raises the price, the quality really needs to be there.

Nice way to occupy the children!
I got one of these for my 24yr old daughter and she took it to her room and was not a bother to me or the rest of the house for several hours. Lots of games from her childhood and even without the larger controller or hooking it up to a larger screen she was happy.

Nostalgic fun but not quite 500 games
So this system boasts a full 500 games but after the first 100+ it starts to repeat game titles which was a bit disappointing.The games themselves are pretty much the same as the ones I used to play on console.The buttons and the design seem kind of cheap feeling to me.These older games relied heavily on mashing those B and A buttons A LOT!! So I am a little worried of the longevity of this device.Both controllers have the same feel (very light and plastic). I feel like if the 500 game titles weren’t misleading and the quality of the material was thicker or able to withstand a lot of button spamming, then this would be rated higher! I also want to point out that mine does not come with a back button so if you finish with a game it would have to be turned off and restarted to get back to Home Screen. I mean, this is very nostalgic to those older games but I figure it shouldn’t be THAT accurate given our modern user interface. Keep the games relatively accurate to the original buttons but the device doesn’t need to replicate all the frustrations of the 80’s and 90’s time period. With all that said, it did bring back some childhood nostalgia.

Throwback toy
My brother-in-law got this for our toddler. However, I started using it and it took me back to our childhood when we had a similar gaming system. This has a handful of games on here and it is a good break from screen time for our toddler. It is isnât the highest quality made toy. it could use some thicker plastic, but it is quite fun and everyone in our family likes playing with it.

Not a quality retro games system
Simply put, I’m not sure who this game system is for. The most charitable idea that I can come up with is to be able to give someone to try out a lot of 8-bit (NES-era) games, and games made in that style. “Super Mario Bros.” is included, but the game runs at an accelerated speed. A version of “Angry Birds” is also included, but even the effort made to attempt to reimagine it as a NES game feels under-cooked.Many of the games appear to be ROMs of actual NES titles.The build of the case feels sturdy, but it still feels extremely cheap. The second controller included feels even worse. The screen is bright, but we haven’t seen LCD screens like this in some time; the viewing angles are odd. While it includes cables for attaching to a TV, I can’t expect a pleasant viewing experience.I don’t recommend.

Groovy Little Console But Lacking Quantity Cost Effective Less than 500 Games
Lightweight & Takes You Back to The Feel Of A Gameboy Console , The Rechargeable Battery is a Lovely Addition Comes With an Extra Controller For Additional Player Games , Little Screen Has Perfect Amount Of Brightness Sound is Pretty Excellent it is definitely Loud enough for a tiny device which i loved about this i had to turn it down , But The Downside of this item is after Running through the games and reviewing the list i determined that this little device has a few games that are repeated throughout the list of 500 games so i was rather disappointed to see that but i will say ultimately no matter my disappointment your kids will still enjoy the tons of games that this little system has to offer , i think it is a perfect addition to that collection of retro games or if your looking for a low budget cost effective toy your kids will have fun for hrs. with then this is definitely a great little toy. it also comes with a AV Cord to connect with a tv for even more fun gaming
