  1. Jason

I read ahead and still bought the book. A solid story, I hope it continues on for many more books.

  2. Kindle Customer

Interesting and action packed, with characters you can get behind. Looking forward to the plot developing in the next book.

  3. Jace March

Another great addition to the series. Plenty of character growth and world building. Am looking forward to seeing more in the next book.

  4. Lukas

Very well written, interesting story and great character dynamics. MC is obviously crazy overpowered, but thats just what I like tbh. Can‘t wait for the next one to see the 5th party member and whats gonna happen in the tower.

  5. Kindle Customer

  7. Kindle Customer

    Great
I love the banter between the team. One of my favorite parts. The good news is it was a great story. Only negative was man this book had way more typos. Not bad enough to detract from a great book though!

  8. Blake

    Phenomenal
Excellent world building continues, character development was through the roof, and the overall plot continued at a steady pace. I have no complaints except I want more and I want it right now, and that’s a good complaint for an author to receive.

  9. Brian Godlis

    An Excellent read
Fun, great progress in all areas. Looking forward to the next installment. Max’s power growth is fun, incremental, and not too overpowered. Max is still challenged and exploring his capabilities. Characters’ developments are well paced.

  10. Jason

Each book gets better and better but also the characters get more interesting and complex
I love the progression of the characters and the secrets of the world and how it relates to the main character

    A step down
The overall story is still going strong, but this book has a lot of flaws. It needs major editing that I didn’t notice in the preview two books. Like lots of missing ” and poorly structured sentences with incorrect grammar, spelling, and sometimes missing words. There are also some points in the story that feel shallow and forced. Spoiler warning: At one point, the party is defending from an attack that kills a lot of people/adventures, but not once did the party show grief or sadness at the loss of life around them. Instead, they were smiling and joking about their experience gains. It was so selfish and shallow that I almost dropped the book completely because of how out of character it was.The parts that were good were really good, like the ending. But the parts that were bad were really bad, like the editing and some of the characters’ actions.

  12. Nicholas Forester

    AWESOME!!!
Shane Wilson can write epic books. Storyline has not been a bore. Could not stop reading even while at work. POVs of the different characters are great and have impact for the story, even the ones who little “screen” time!!

  13. Derek S.

    love the series
It’s progressing well and building to a climax. I like the fight descriptions. The plot has some intrigue but not too much. I also like that the plot follows the main characters instead of going off on wild tangents constantly- like Sanderson’s latest series does. Keep up the good work.
