A LitRPG Progression Epic

Book 8 of Guardian of Aster Fall!

The Lord of Silver Stars is rising and his allies are rising with him!

Sam’s strength as an Astral Titan is greater than anything seen on Aster Fall since the First War shattered the world. He commands three armies and the fortress of Silverguard stands firm in the Void, but enemies surround him on every side.

The Avatar of Blood stands inside the World Seal, an enemy whose strength is equal to the Titans of old. He holds Asenya in his grasp, the caretaker of Aster Fall.

To overcome him, Sam will have to finish his rise to power as an Astral Titan and take up the mantle they once held.

It’s time to invade the World Seal and deal with the enemy inside, but other remnants of the First War return to wreak havoc.

Great story as always. A worthy ending for the story but maybe there is more to look forward to in the series. Who knows?

  2. A C Bennett

Wow I couldn’t put it down, even driving thru the mountains of character updates. That epic battle toward the end, I will be looking forward to listening to on audio book. Can’t wait for book 9.

  3. JAYANT BHAVSAR

The Book is far more fast paced than the previous books in the series and opens up more ancient secrets & the battles are intense and thrilling keeping the readers on edge guessing what would happen next. Many of the old story threads are closed in this book making for well rounded storyline

  4. Simone Greif

Another good read with lots of plot progression. Two gripes. Firstly, Same as the last time, too much use of the word ‘Silver’. Thought I was going a little mad at times. Secondly I feel the character progression has been lost for every one but Sam for a few books now. This is a shame as there was a great deal of scope in many.

    One of my fav series
Such a beautiful story and characters… One of my fav series.. David is a talented fellow and also very nice as a person… Characters etch and textured.. World building impressive.. Along the lines of he who fights with a crafting bent..Highly recommendJD GlasscockAuthor of the Series Blood Brothers and Nocturne

    Epic arc ending
Wow. It really has been a journey from where Sam started to where he is now. The buildup and execution of the plot line has been excellent. There are times where I have seen cohesion of the story, in other series , which has frayed and lost the way before it was brought back. The author has created a master piece of lit RPG with this series. The bit about leaving the reader on tip toes with the ending to find out where it will go still remains. Write faster.

    loved it.
I waited to read it cause I tend to forget what happens in earlier books by the time new ones come out. This one was absolutely worth waiting for.

    Simply Fantastic
This book is an excellent example of what a weak to strong character looks like at book 8. If the author is wanted to end the series here they could do so and I’d be satisfied with the current state of things. That said, I’m really hopefully for a couple more books to answer many of the questions still hanging. You won’t be disappointed by giving this series a read, it’s well worth the effort!

    Wonderful!
I have loved reading these books from the very beginning. Sam and his family are very personable, their trials and tribulations gripping. It’s fascinating story plot and I cannot wait to read more.

    Consistently great
This is the latest Aster Fall book. Many series lose the plot or get stale in time. So far author David North has avoided that pitfall. From a very humble beginning Sam has developed into a being of nearly unimaginable power. But, instead of getting dull and boring, the story stays exciting and continues to build higher and higher. At times I was actually bouncing in my seat from the sheer joy and excitement I had while reading. And best of all, there is more to come it seems, book 9 it says is coming in 2025! Hooray!!This is an epic series combining the coming of age with the hero’s journey. And in my opinion, each book in the series as well as the series overall knocks it out of the park.So if you like epic fantasy, especially of the gamelit/litrpg variety I strongly recommend the Aster Fall series. It is great series!
