Works with Quest 2
I took a chance that the controller bases weren’t too different as they are made to fit a hand. They work just fine. No real concession for locking the controllers into the magnetic bases, but you can use the wrist straps if you are ok with not being able to pull the controllers off quickly. Maybe I should have just made my own, this is a little flimsy, but it totally works for holding steady aim, just not the best cheek rest. I haven’t gotten into too many multiplayer shooters but this may be just what I need to give it a try.

Strong magnets and simple build.
Feels nice and controllers snap on and off with powerful magnets! Strap makes it easy to drop the main assembly for when you need your hands free!

Cannot be assembled as-is. Poor craftsmanship.
The 3D printing on the actual controller handles is pretty good quality. But don’t expect a product you can unbox and use without further modification. Mine is missing all threading for screws. They just spin forever and don’t tighten anything. And the extra screws included aren’t pointed, so they can’t screw into anything either. I’m having to modify mine with my own screws, or glue it together. I didn’t expect much for the price, but I received even less than advertised.

Makes you better at vr gun games
My roomate plays a ton of fps vr games and the gun stock has had a noticeable improvement on his performance. This will likely be dependent on the person but he loves it. The unit is comprised of 3d printed fittings and some pvc fittings. We did have a small break due to them only using what looked like hot glue on the connections. I implored him on whether he would have just used pvc glue (He is a plumber) and he said it would stink. So maybe be concerned about build quality but be assured its better than a stinky gun. The product is well designed but could use some updates in quality and hopefully they make enough off of these to make those changes.

Impossible to use.
You can’t see your hands in vr. How do you get your hands back on without removing goggles?

Great design, and priced well.
I have recently been getting more and more into VR shooters, with the only thing that really bugs me about them being how unintuitive it feels when using two-handed weapons. Your arms get tired, and it can be difficult to hold steady when you really need to make those precise shots.I really had no idea there was a market out there for something like this until I saw this pop up. I was sure it would be terrible, but was eager to give it a try. Assembly was incredibly easy. The beauty of the design here is in its simplicity. Slotting the controllers into the little holders and then adjusting their position is easy… though sadly, if you are like me and like to use controller covers with hand straps you will have to remove them before they will fit. The magnets that hold them in are strong enough to hold pretty tightly, but come off easily when you rock them forward: accidental removals were pretty rare for me. I also like that you can adjust the height of the stock to find a comfortable position.Once I got everything together and adjusted, I went ahead and loaded into a solo round of Tactical Assault VR just to test it out. I must warn you: the adjustment is a difficult one. It absolutely helps you with accuracy and steadiness, and it most definitely adds a significant layer of immersion… but you are going to have to really work to get that muscle memory hammered into your brain: things like mag changes can be real tricky! Once you have detached the left hand controller to go through the motion of inserting a new mag and racking the slide, you have to affix it back to the front of the stock… without actually being able to see it. I died a LOT as I was shot while helplessly trying to find the magnets again. Like anything, with enough practice, this will become second nature, but the road to get there is a bit long and bumpy. The stock is made of simple PVC, and while I was sure this would make it flimsy, it’s actually pretty rigid. It works surprisingly well. The included strap is a nice addition as well. If you need to pull both controllers to switch to a one handed weapon, you can just pull them and let it drop and hang in front of you.All in all, I like this thing quite a bit. I am looking forward to trying other designs as well, but this one seems to nail it and it does so at a pretty good price. The magnets attachment method is a good one in my opinion, and the simplicity of this means if I want to make design improvements, I can easily do that. Can’t wait to jump back in a play some more!

A must have for VR FPS shooters
I play FPS games on VR regularly like Contractors and Pavlov Shack. With that said I wouldn’t consider myself a pro gamer by any means but this gunstock caught my eye and with so many people who play VR FPS games professionally recommending a gunstock I decided to get this one. My first impression is that it has good build quality, it is light but sturdy and the magnets are really strong which is good for stability but also longevity. I would say that my aim is pretty good but with this, it bumps it up to another level. The stability of your hands and arms makes the virtual gun much more accurate and I found myself performing better with a pretty marginal difference. I also feel much more immersive as I am holding something now compared to before which was only the controllers. The gunstock itself is also adjustable and the sling is a nice touch as well. The only nitpick I have with this gunstock is that you can’t use certain controller grips/knuckle straps but for me, it’s well worth the tradeoff. 5/5 I would definitely recommend it.
