Jesse
After years of working my butt off, I’m finally living the life I always wanted. I have a job I love, friends who’ve become family, and I’m enjoying the freedom of being single.

Then Sebastian, my childhood rival, moves back to town and my perfect life is thrown into chaos. We’ve always hated each other, but now there’s something else between us. Something wild and primal, something that wants to make Sebastian submit as much as it wants to claim him.

Hooking up with the guy I hate is probably the stupidest thing I’ve done, and that’s saying a lot. But it’s hard to remember why it’s a bad idea when he’s the only person who’s ever made me lose control, and the only man I can’t stay away from.

Sebastian
Retiring from the music industry at twenty-five wasn’t in my long-term plans. Neither was moving home after being away for seven years. But here I am with a serious case of burnout and no idea what I want to do with the rest of my life.

I hoped that moving back would give me a chance to shed my public persona and just be Sebastian again, but that doesn’t seem to be happening any time soon.

The only thing in my life that makes sense is my old rivalry with Jesse, the guy I’ve hated since we were eight. Arguing with him is as exhilarating as it is familiar, and no one is more surprised than me when a fight leads to our first kiss, then more.

Jesse may be the most annoying person I’ve ever known, but the tension between us is too strong to ignore. I hate that I want him but love that he can’t stay away from me either.

Jesse and Sebastian’s book is an enemies-to-lovers romance featuring a mechanic with a secret, and a retired musician looking for his place in the world. You can expect hurt/comfort, forced proximity, ‘there’s only one bed’, found family, lots of heat, tons of dirty talk, primal play, hate s*x, and fighting as these two childhood rivals figure out that sometimes what you need has been in front of you all along. It is the first book in the exciting new Legacy Mechanics series but can be read as a standalone.

Ahh love this so much!Jesse and Sebastian ❤️Jesse and Sebastian have known each other since they where 8 years old, growing up together they constantly bickered and fought thinking they didn’t like the other, but you know what they say about that fine line between love and hate…Absolutely beautiful! These two with their Alpha energies clashing and their possessive need to own the other was so hot!I’m so glad Jesse was first in this new series, I was highly intrigued by his character when we got glimpses of him in dad next door (Quinn, Jessie’s step brother) and their wicked ways (Ez, Wes, and Jett, Ez & Wes are Jesse’s best mates) and I am not disappointed!! I loved this one so much! Looking forward to the rest of the series!

3.5 starsMM small town romance. I felt it was more dislike to love, rather than true enemies to lovers story. The MC’s had long held mis-perceptions of the other.MechanicRetired MusicianHurt/ComfortForced ProximityFound FamilyDirty TalkH8te S-xI liked the spice & chemistry between the 2 mc’s.And loved the hot banter & the barbs. The h8te s-x was hot. There were a couple things I would have liked a bit more hashed out, but nothing major. Good story and an enjoyable read.

🔩🔩Flipping the Script || Willow DixonI flipping loved this story. It was so great, sometimes an enemies to lovers can be a bit much and I just want them to love each other hahaha but this was so so perfect.Sebastian and Jesse have been rivals since childhood, both jealous of each other but never admitting that. Constantly arguing and poking at each other to get a reaction. Years later, Sebastian has returned to town after retiring from his music career and they are back to bickering and goading each other. When Jesse drops some boxes to Sebastian’s cabin as a favor to his brother, things get heated when they argue past their normal point, and things get physical, each trying to get the upper hand on the other and Sebastian admits to being bi – and then ends their fight by kissing Jesse (who kisses him back). The snowball effect of them being around each other after that escalates with more fighting and more passion until they are stuck at Sebastian’s cabin one night and they actually have an open conversation with each other and both realize things are different between them, that it’s more. This was such an excellent read, these two are complicated and work through that together. Plus the heat, the dirty talk, the almost primal foreplay is so so good!!This book comes out September 26! Get you a copy asap and enjoy the heck out of it!🔩MM Romance🔩Enemies to Lovers🔩Hate Sx🔩Claiming/Marking🔩Forced Proximity🔩HEA

    Jesse and Bas
I love an enemies to lovers romance where I can feel the tension crackling between the leads, and that’s exactly the energy I got from Bas and Jesse in this book. These guys could not let an opportunity pass without needling each other, and I was living for their aggressive hate-that-I-want-you vibes. Neither Bas nor Jesse was ready to admit their attraction to one another when they started fooling around, but I certainly wasn’t buying their competition to one-up each other when it was obvious they were loving it so much. I could tell that both men were feeling out of control and conflicted about how their feelings were changing, and that manifested itself in some chaotic emotional outbursts later on in the book. Despite the growing physical intimacy between them, I honestly wasn’t sure Jesse or Bas were ready for an actual relationship for at least two thirds of the book. It wasn’t until their rainy night stuck in the cabin that I finally got some of the emotional connection I’d been searching for, and that night was a total game changer for the two of them. All the things Jesse and Bas had been hiding in their heads were finally said out loud, and I was thrilled that neither of them tried to run away from their vulnerabilities. That being said, it did catch me off guard that in the same breath as they were finally opening up to each other, Jesse and Bas were confessing their love. Maybe I missed some cues earlier on in the book, but for me that night worked more as the start of building a love connection, not the final destination. I guess I just wanted to see more from Jesse and Bas after they stopped pretending like they didn’t care about each other, and while the epilogue was a nice taste of that, it left me wishing I’d gotten to see more of the in between stages of their relationship. I still found their character growth satisfying, and I enjoyed getting to meet all the side characters and returning characters from other series, but a part of me will always wonder what happened after they went public with their relationship and had to learn how to be in love out in the open.

    A Thin Line
The chemistry and tension is there right from the start. This is a fun read because Jesse and Sebastian really can’t see what right in front of them. The denial is strong. As usual they find their way with communication that makes this love story work.

    Start of a new series!
3.5 stars for this one that had a lot of great moments but didn’t quite cone together for me until far too late in the book. Jesse and Sebastian were both likeable characters, and had some good banter back and forth that was fueled by years long animosity between them. Their chemistry was off the charts and they certainly steamed up the sheets, but that got a little tiring for me. I wanted more of the moments where they weren’t tearing off each other’s clothes and really talked to each other and got to know more than what was on the surface. Those moments were great, I just needed more of them. All of the side characters were great, Jesse’s whole family is lovely and Bas’s sister was so sweet.

    another hit from Willow Dixon
Was excited to see a new Willow Dixon book released and it did not disappoint. Not that the last few haven’t been wonderful as well but this one was a huge hit for me and had similar vibes to early Crimson Club and Never Have I Ever books. Both MCs were flawed characters but overall good people at heart, they just had to learn to accept themselves and each other. I am excited to see the love stories of some of their friends we were introduced to.

Their hate, their banter and their love!!! I love them!
This is the first book of the Legacy Mechanics series and it’s Jesse’s book!!! I was so curious about Jesse from the Crimson Club series and this book did not go in the direction I thought it was going to go. Now that I read it, I understand why it didn’t go in the direction I assumed it was going to go. However, I still enjoyed this book so much. We are going into a new world with a new crew and new people, even though they are still connected to some characters from the Crimson Club. In this first book I felt a sense of calm throughout the book. A sense of wanting peace while I was reading it. That’s exactly what both Jesse and Sebastian were looking for. Jesse, quit his job after giving himself time to go through his own healing and Sebastian wanted to find his passion after being burnt out from his lifestyle as a musician and decided to return home. I believe in every book you read, you can learn something. With Jesse’s and Sebastians story, it really made me think. You see them hate each other so much, they constantly fight but they can’t seem to stay away from each other. Even when Sebastian leaves for years, they are still in each others minds. But they are so used to hating each other and comfortable with hate that they don’t think that just maybe it’s not hate. I loved reading how they come to terms with it all. That there is that very thin line between love and hate and when you grow up not having a support system or you feel like you don’t have one. You are left to learn how to navigate your own emotions and feelings on your own. How easy it is to stay in comfort without questioning yourself do I really feel this way or could it be something else? Although it took them years to figure it out, I am so happy they did. Their banter was amazing, their hate was felt and their love was swoon worthy! There are things that I would have like to have seen been a bit more present in the story, which is why I couldn’t give this a 5 star, but I still enjoyed this and really grew to love and understand Jesse and Sebastian. We have a new crew and I am already loving these character, so I am so excited for the next book in the series. Also, because I know we will still get more of Jesse and Sebastian.

    Finally Figured It Out
Jesse was definitely on my I need a book now list from the moment I met him. It was so worth the wait. I love a good enemies to lovers story and this didn’t disappoint. Bas is such a sweet soul. I don’t think many people understand that about him. Lord knows Jesse didn’t for ages. I live for sexual tension. They had it in spades! It was wonderful watching them get to truly know each other outside of their preconceived notions. I loved everything about this story. Jesse’s family is amazing. I loved Sunday dinner. IYKYK.
