After centuries of hardship and tragedy, of struggle and toil, he’d finally reached the end of his journey. He’d never faltered, defying all who’d stood in his way. And now, the Seventh Heaven beckoned, the place where both the answers to his questions and justice for all those he’d been forced to leave behind awaited him.

Not once had he given in, regardless of the obstacles in his path. Even if all the Ancients banded together to oppose him, he would not yield. His will had been forged into something more than mere iron by the crucible of his life, and nothing would be able to break it. His sword would never be lowered in surrender, his stride would forever remain undaunted. He was Hadjar Darkhan, and he would see his goals realized, or he would die trying.

  1. Janota S.

Hi guys, if you are reading this, asking yourself if you should read this, then the answer is yes. I have read over 450 Books of this “genre” and not even one other got close the the level that Dragon heart achieved, just read it

Well, the whole serie of books is amazing. The only thing that slow my reading was that I am a non-native English speaker and as such cryptic comments of the ancient might be more difficult for me to understand. But beside this little point I think the fact that I finished reading the whole book in few hour is a testimony of how amazing it is. The combat is as great as ever, and truths, revelations and philosophicals comments make me think. Definitely one of the best series of book I have ever read, and if not one, the best end I have seen thus far in a book. I now lack word and water in my eyes (I cried a bit) to continue describing how i genuinely love this series.Farewell, have a great day and read. What matter is you re own strength and how far you can read at the end.

  3. Anay Kirloskar

I still can’t believe that this series is over…The secrets (intrigues) of this world have been building up since the very first chapter a fitting finale for this extraordinary series

  4. Mal Ware

    Decent, but mostly drivel
After following this series for its decisively human themes I’m not particularly impressed with this “attempt” to end it.An extended dreamscape, an authentic surprise reveal about his nature and companions, some warped and contorted esoteric swaddling, a convoluted reveal about his enemy, ANOTHER reveal that undoes any significance of the first one, then a neatly arranged epilogue without any ties to what happened.I’m cutting slack for not knowing how to pull an excellent but wide reaching series together but that’s it. It’s just a kind of bizarre and sloppy amalgamation of incoherent ideas. We’re also left with every unnecessary mystery about Boreas we started with.I almost encourage skipping it. Almost.. but there are some narrative beats in here that were worth covering. And the first reveal is tastefully done.

    The end of an era.
Bear with me here folks, as there is alot to unpack here.I’ve been reading this series since I first discovered it on Kindle. That discovery (almost 5 years ago now) lead me to enjoy the wonders of Russian to English translations and how silly Grammer can become between the two. Sentence structure tends to be odd at times but enjoyable. This ending has been… odd, but honestly consistent with the story and how its many twists were inserted.I’ve loved, lived, and cried with these books. In the time I’ve been reading this series, I’ve gotten married, had two children, and been introduced into the knowledge of what losing a child can be. To see what the author did with the main character and the twists of losing his family… it broke me to read that when the book came out. I’d personally just lost a child to miscarriage at that point.I couldn’t read for weeks after that. I finally came back though.I tell you all of this to highlight a point here. These books, this story, these characters…. all the hardships we face in life are written here in many forms. One thing is also present though. The fact that life goes on. The story here is finally over. It was a great journey. One I will always remember. My life was affected by this story, and I hope others read it and enjoy it as well.May we all continue down the story that is our lives being forever remembered and loved. This ending is but one of many.

    Wow
I’ve been following this series since the first translation was released on kindle. I found it randomly and started reading cause of “dragons, neat”.Thankyou for the amazing stories and the world you shared with us. Also damir! That afterwords was golden. I love what will does, and it made me laugh many times.

    The end is here
What can you say about a series that spans 22 books and 800 years of the characters life? These books have everything, life, death, triumph, tragedy, mysteries and resolution. It is always hard for an author to stick the landing at the end and this book doesn’t disappoint. If you have come this far, you need to get to the end.

  8. Kindle Customer

    An epic finish
An epic finish to a series sitting at the top of this genre. The books covers a lot, very quickly, but after 22 books I think it’s what both readers and the writer wanted. Unfortunately, the consequences to moving so fast is that certain critical points seem underdeveloped. I found myself left wanting for more numerous times. In any case, a crowning achievement.

  9. schilzy

This is the best book series I have ever read.
As a child I found an escape in reading from my daily life, I never liked who I was and always found such subliminal peace in losing myself in the machinations of anothers creation. I have read countless books so far in my life, it is probably the one defining penultimate trait and hobby I have in this life. I read the first book of dragons heart when it still was the first of its series. I have read every single one almost the day it came out. I have never read such a phantasmal, breathtaking, gut wrenching, mind bending, jaw dropping, and over all confounding story. Whenever I have talked to my friends, co workers or family about this book I always say that Krill Klevanski is like a spider. Weaving a web of intricate intrigue and mystery where you will read something in the first book that will have a prevalence in the 20th book… I truly believe this is one of the greatest series and stories to have ever been crafted, sculpted, written, and born from human hands. Thank you Krill Klevanksi and Damir and everyone else for creating such a wonderful piece of art that should go down in human history. Thank you for this story.P.s I have already purchased the first 8 books of the paperback version and pray that eventually the other 14 books come out on paperback as well. Would be a dream come true.
