Caroline Brennan just wants to be good.
A good daughter, a good friend, a good person.
It shouldn’t be that hard, right?

Hunter Whitlock doesn’t care about being good.
He just wants to be left alone.
Turns out, that’s not so easy.
Turns out, when it comes to the pretty girl in the flowery dresses, that’s not what he wants at all.

Bloom is a single POV, small town romance following a shy florist and her grumpy cowboy love interest. The Serenity Ranch Series is a spin-off series of The Sun Valley Series. It is not required to read Sun Valley, but it is recommended.

This was surprisingly good! Got me out of a little bit of a slump! Really loved the mmc and the epilogue made me so freaking emotional

The Wattpad version was better, I wish you kept the original, this version is confusing, I found the Wattpad version more in-depth with Caroline feelings and Hunter was a lot more sweeter.

This book broke my heart and made it whole again 🥺
When we first met Caroline in Bide, I wasn’t a fan. I felt bad for her, but she just wouldn’t take Jackson’s “no” for an answer, and that always bugs me. However, Bloom completely changed my perspective. Learning more about her made me want to protect her myself! Caroline has been through so much and is just searching for love, acceptance, and someone to remind her that she’s worthy of happiness. But every time someone tries to offer her that, she can’t believe it or accept it, all thanks to her cruel, alcoholic father. He’s truly awful, just pure evil.Thank God for Hunter. He’s got his own issues, so he’s kind of a jerk at first (the hot and cold thing was so frustrating, especially with Caroline’s insecurities). But he sees her. He sees her struggles, her pain, and the lies she tells others, and herself. He becomes her friend, her protector, and eventually her lover, and let me tell you, their chemistry is off the charts! 🔥 But most importantly, he becomes her safe space, building her up and giving her the courage to reach for more.Their journey to a HEA isn’t easy, but it makes it that much sweeter. 🥹Now I NEED more info on Lux and her (possible?!) baby daddy! 👀

    I hated it
I was looking for something light to kick my feet to. Spoiler, this was NOT it. I loved Caroline and I was rooting for her and she deserved so much better than him. He’s an older ranch hand with some reason why can’t be with her so it’s a constant yo yo. I won’t say what his reason was, but I was LIVID when it came out and his muscling around didn’t make up for it. I already disliked him for the yoyo because Caroline was dealing with some deep rejection and self esteem issues. That’s why I was rooting for her so hard. She deserved someone who could truly choose her unapologetic after all the times she’d been rejected. The best love story in this is between Caroline and Lux. They were why I kept reading

    Adored it
Uhhh… yeah, I woefully underestimated how much I was going to LOVE this. It’s the kind of book that I want to savor for days to make the experience last as long as possible. I had a good feeling about it early on, but this stole my heart more and more with every page. There are so many LAYERS that bring depth to the story as we get to know the characters better. Our heroine truly does bloom before our eyes, and I loved watching her find the strength inside of herself. She’s a pushover and a people pleaser, too nervous to clash with anyone… at least until she meets a certain grumpy cowboy. I adored the friction between them and the subtle changes to the dynamic. It’s a slow, torturous burn that’s got some seriously angsty moments, but the chemistry was front and center. We (mostly) only get snippets of the hero’s POV at the beginning of each chapter, and I loved trying to figure him out. He frustrated me (and the heroine!) to no end, and yet… I loved him. It was a pretty spectacular introduction to this new-to-me author, and the kind of story I won’t forget anytime soon. The story follows Caroline (22), a shy florist who has spent years doubting herself. Her alcoholic father has torn down her self-esteem to the point that she is convinced that no one wants her around. So when Caroline meets a grumpy cowboy who doesn’t try to hide his annoyance with her, it’s the final straw. Caroline finds herself pushing back for once, and Hunter (30) takes notice. The two clash as they shift from strangers to reluctant friends to something that feels like more, but Hunter continues to hold back. As Caroline and Hunter navigate their complicated feelings, they become an important part of each other’s lives. This was a surprise release and it caught me at the perfect time, so I went in blind with zero expectations. I’ve been meaning to check out Blaise’s work, and a grumpy/sunshine cowboy romance was impossible to resist. It’s also a series starter, spun off from a previous series. I didn’t have any trouble jumping in, but now I’m definitely going to have to check out the Sun Valley series. Caroline’s story is woven together with one of the past couple’s, and it’s really fascinating how insight into her background changes a lot. I also found it so interesting that Hunter’s life mirrors Caroline’s in a way that would not be obvious on the surface. His secret is a BIG one, and we get some good grovel, let me tell you. I don’t usually love a man who messes up so much, but his adoration bled from the page. I was absolutely hooked. His secret could definitely be triggering to some readers though. For me, I was simply floored at the depth of the romance. It’s not a short book, and we truly do see Caroline and Hunter go through so many stages. Their story is not an easy one, but it gave me so many SWOONS. I was rubbing my chest from the ache. It’s such a multifaceted love story, and an impactful one for sure. I loved it!
