All it takes is one murder to change a million lives, and that’s exactly what happens to Kasheef Williams on a cold, black Friday. After a reunion with an old friend goes wrong in a Long Island nightclub, Kasheef is forced to protect himself by any means necessary. The only problem is that prying eyes see everything. Those eyes belong to Alija Bell. After walking in on a situation she was never meant to see, she runs; but Kasheef sees her face, and he tells her that it’s best for her to get temporary amnesia.
Afraid for her life and the safety of her daughter, she keeps her mouth shut, but when a tape of the murder surfaces, the only face that is visible is Alija’s. Now the police are looking for their eyewitness, and Kasheef has to get to Alija before her day comes to testify against him in court.
In this dramatic, hood-savvy tale, things aren’t always as they seem. Somebody holds the ticket to the jury’s verdict. Lies and truth collide. Everyone has a different angle, but the only question is: who has the most influence over Kasheef’s fate?

That Ending Tho!!!!
This authoring duo has never let me down. Just when I think I’ve been exposed to their best work yet – here comes something else. This book kept my eyes peeled from the very first page. I love how these authors come onto the scene with the unexpected, but always end with something you dont EVER see coming. The characters and the story lines blend well and have you thinking you’re right there in the book to live it yourself.Great Job!!Keep up the great work. But that ending!!! I didn’t see it coming mainly because I wasn’t looking for it. Whew!!!!

WHOA!
All I can say is WHOA! The ending totally blew me away. I’ve been hooked on the duo since I read Diary of a Mistress, and have to say I haven’t been disappointed yet. I was a little slow about reading their solo works, thinking it just wouldn’t be the same. But I was definitely wrong. I can read any one of their books in a matter a a few hours. They’re definitely go to authors. I don’t even bother reading their book summaries, if Ashley and/or JaQuavis is stamped on the front-It’s a certified great read!

Page Turner!
I’m a huge fan of Ashley & Ja’Quavis and I loved this book. I love how the authors keep it real with their books, sometimes you have happy endings and sometimes you don’t! This book shows that you can’t trust just anybody and that somebody always has an agenda no matter if its good or bad! This book was definitely a page turner and all I can say is that Alija played her part…I mean I would of never expected how the book ended from her but in a way she had to do what she had to do! I like how they broke Kasheef’s wall down and showed that he has a heart. I hope there’s a part 2 in the works because based on how the book ended…there has to me more to it.

Fate can be so twisted!!
Ashley and Jaquavis remain unchallenged! Who’d think a street hustler could fall in real LOVE? What are the odds that one could walk away from the possibility of a very long prison sentence? These questions and others are answered, when Kasheef decides to take the high road when dealing with the eyewitness to his crime. When all is said and done you’ll have a hard time determining who’s the victim and who’s the perpetrator. Black Friday Exposed was a quick read because I could not put the book down. The story is relayed with precise timing and all the nuts and bolts that tie it together are revealed in startling detail.

DONT WALK RUN TO BUY
I recently found out about this book on TikTok and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did. I brought this as a birthday gift to myself since I have fallen by the wayside of reading and wanted something thrilling, dramatic and adventurous to read which this book falls nothing short of doing. I fell so deep into reading that I finished it within 2 days. I loved all the characters and felt like the author went above and beyond for the readers and their anticipations of the outcome. This book is most definitely in my top 5 great reads for 2022 as the top 1 book. I look forward to reading more books from the author.
